One of the best chippy teas I've ever had, excellent value, wonderful staff, the fish was huge & fresh and melted in my mouth, perfect chips, the photo shows about half(!) of a large chips. The peas weren't from Whittakers, I don't like mushy peas!

Nice fish and chips the peas and gravy are good as well. They also do Fanta lemon sounds random but you can not find Fanta everywhere. Was a little busy so wait time was around 15 minutes but the food was good.

Prices are around average.

There is parking at the front or on the side street.

Tasty well portioned cod with Crispy batter and perfectly cooked chips.

Reasonably priced and great fish and chips. Only letdown was the curry sauce which was a bit strong and not the usual chippy type.

The freshest fish and chips. We ate sat inside, a lovely experience and enjoyes a superb meal at a bargain price.

Amazing so fresh chips chunky and hot

Over the last few weeks quality has been slipping, I never used to think about trying other chippys in the area as I was always happy, but recently the fish are getting smaller the gravy is half the gravy it used to be, very thin now and the portion sizes are reducing. Bit disappointing not to the standard that has been consistent over the last few years. Today's meat and potato pie was tepid at best with a soggy base. Please get back to normal Whittakers.
