You just have to know what you want ahead of time, and be ready to explain clearly to them.. (photos, videos of what you want) They get it done!
I have got haircuts done by Michael and Natalie, and Michael was good. Natalie couldn't understand what I wanted and screwed up my hair very badly. I realized it after a week, but can't bear the hairstyle now.
Absolutely love this place!! Stephanie is awesome! Friendliest and genuinely skilled professionals. I went in for highlights and root touch up and had the best experience. I’m definitely going back and highly recommend this salon if you are in the JC area.
The staff is very professional and cooperative… I often used to visit there.. I love their work.. they talk in very good manner and deal with every guest in a polite way. I always prefer simi di to do my eyebrows.. She is very kind and do painless threading
I am south Asian, and have very long dark hair. I am very sensitive about it. I wanted to get hair highlights and found this salon on Google. I was scared at first, but they did amazing job! Stephanie did my hair highlights and Mike gave the best ever hair wash and massage. Both are very soft spoken, professional and genuinely tells what’s good for you (it’s not money mending hair saloon like any other). I was scared at first as my last experience at “Jenny O hair salon” in jersey city was worst. Never go there! But I am glad I found this one. Thanks Stephanie and Mike.

Venus Salon is no doubt the best Salon in JC area with warmest of people providing services. I have been a customer for 5+ years now, and proudly I can say, even after moving to nyc, I do come here to get my trim still.
Just love the experience and the service. Friendly and professional staff. I went for a haircut and a hair wash. They gave me such a great head massage with it. The haircut turned out beautiful. And all that only costed 35$! Definitely going back!
