I always request for Tan when I go, both walk-in or reservation. He is very consistent w/ his work and always lets me leave w/ perfect nails. He does great w/ both shape and color (even if you want a design). He is quick, gentle, and kind. Never nicked my skin w/ the drills yet too :).
This was my first time here and I had high hopes given how nice this salon looks! I had a pedicure that was done VERY quickly. It was like he was racing to get my service done and they were not very busy to justify it. I’ve gone to nail salons all over Florida and I would say this is one of the worst I’ve experienced. Nail polish selection is limited, service was adequate but overall experience was subpar. Goes without saying, I will not be back and I recommend others to spend their time and money at one of the other many nail salons in Port Orange.
I have come to Venus Nails for my nails as a loyal customer for many years off an on. I was appalled by the service I received from Lucas. I make my appointments a week in advance and always tip 8-10 dollars because I love his work (my nails are 90$). He scolded me in front of other customers for being 3 minutes late to my 9am Saturday appointment, told me I "was always late" when I am certainly am not. I was so embarrassed. I tried to tell him I lived in Edgewater and tried to schedule for 10am earlier in the week like my last two appointments, but he told me they needed to fill the schedule that way and I need to be on time. Not convenient for a loyal customer who always shows. The worst part was he did a sloppy job on my nails and nicked me twice to the point i jerked my hand. No apologies. I wont be coming back and would advise you not to either. Clearly tips and loyalty dont mean anything to them. Bad business.

Twice now I have made an appointment which was completely ignored. My husband and I as well as several friends that I recommended have been going there for several years one hour after my appointment time the owner tried to make it my fault that Mia started a manicure right before we got there and we were early for our appointments. good luck. Never ever going back. Recommend Royal Nails instead. They did a wonderful job and it is much cleaner.
I liked this salon because they could do a French tip with dip. Had it done twice. Didn’t mind the extra $13 charge even though they’re using 1/3 the product. 3rd time the nail tech did the entire nail. I didn’t fuss about it; I figured it was miscommunication even though he removed the original French tip. Went back today. Made clear I wanted a French tip. Two nail techs said it took too long. Not sure how. They also charge more than my previous shop in Fort Myers. I won’t be back.
It was scary because I landed up getting a bacterial infection from getting a pedicure here. If left untreated the infection would have gotten much worse. Needless to say I will not be getting any pedicures any time soon or be returning to Venus Nails & Spa.
To the owner, I've never had this happen to me before either and I've been going to nail salons for 30 years. I sent your salon an email with copies of the receipts. The bacterial infection showed up on my toes two days after I had a pedicure at your salon. Your response is another reason why I will not come to your salon. The only way to help me is to reimburse me for the medical expenses, lost wages and give me a refund for what happened. Please use clean tools to prevent something like this from ever happening to someone ever again.
Trish is Amazing! She is so thorough and precise. I get so many compliments on my nails too :) The spa is huge and peaceful.
