Love love love this nail salon! Just be sure to not have any other plans when visiting because they only take walk ins and majority of the time have a wait but trust me it's worth it! Thank you for always providing great service!
Go somewhere else! The workers in this shop are extremely rude! I walked in at 6:20…. They close at 7 and i was told they take there last customer at 6. They had multiple people sitting around and the service i was requesting was a simple polish change. I wasted my time coming over to their shop and because they had a busy day, they did not care to make an extra 40 dollars from me. When I asked why they stop taking customers so early, if they close at 7, the lady said she can. Previously i came here and paid 75 dollars for a no chip pedicure, it chipped the very next day and i had to pay 10 dollars for them to fix the nail. Please do not support this business! They don’t care about you and service is basic! Only in petersburg where shops are limited is where this is allowed to happen.

I forgot why I stopped coming here I waited over an hour but I got up and left when they took 2 people before me. Like my money don't spend. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Go to Nail Art at least they respect you there and they do great work.
The best nails techs around!! Most of the nail techs do good work. I recommend going to Tommy, he goes the extra mile to make sure your nails look amazing and clean looking. I gave it 4 stars only because, for the most part, they are usually packed and you have to come extra early so u won't be in there all day. Another negative aspect is that sometimes.some of the nail techs can be rude. But I've never had an issue with Tommy, he's really polite and does the best work there.
If I could give this place less than a star I would. I went in Saturday for a pedicure. The young Mexican lady was on the phone as she was doing my pedicure. I gave her a few min assuming she was going to end her call. Needless to say she didn't. Finally I asked if she planned to stay on the phone the entire time. She continued to talk in Spanish and eventually hung up. I could tell immediately she had an attitude. Once finished she told me go sit over there. Her tone and the way she said it was rude and disrespectful, not to mention unprofessional. The dryers don't work efficiently, after about 35 minutes an Asian man, I'm assuming owner came over the young lady refused to check to see if i was dry. I paid $40 ($35 + $5 to remove old gel polish) the polish came off the same night. I would not recommend this place. The Owner or whomever he was should have addressed the situation, but instead chose to ignore bad behavior. I don't spend my money where I'm disrespected and where it's not appreciated. I paid for a service and don't appreciate it when I'm treated badly for addressing unprofessional behavior.
I have a TON to say about this place, but too long didn't read version is this is my new nail spot and before now I've never even been a person who has a nail spot.
First of all, I'll go with my only negatives because they are so sparse. It's super weird they don't take appointments. Why not? You can still do walk ins, but it's convenient for everyone if you have the option to set a time. I really recommend that this business starts doing that. Second I don't know who painted the inside of the nail salon but I assure you they don't work there. Your nails will not look like their walls. It really looks like someone just closed their eyes and had a partner tell them where the wall was.
But now that that's out of the way, I was blown away by the service I received. I brought my 4 year old son who loves spa stuff at home so I thought it would be a fun after-school random treat. I have always wanted witch nails for Halloween so I knew exactly what I wanted when I walked in with a specific vision. It was a really long wait since you can't set appointments and although we got there at 12:15 we weren't seen for about an hour which could be easily solved with appointments but moving on, I asked for a mani/pedi for my son and expressed that I wanted acrylics and a pedicure. They did my pedicure and while they were prepping my nails they did my son's. Everyone's work was super thorough. And the pedicure includes a wax foot thing which was cool. Also everyone was really gentle and the lady who did my son's pedicure was so sweet and handled him expertly and compassionately and listened to him talk about all of his school friends.
There was apparently some miscommunication about me getting acrylics but it was quickly solved and Michelle did my nails. I really could not recommend her more. She's very sweet and she does an incredible job. Also I told her I wanted them to be short and she told me it would look weird and she was so right and they're perfect. A lot of people would just mind their business and do what the customer said but I'm super thankful she did me right and they're perfect honestly. Exactly what I wanted and now everything I do is so fancy. Anyway, this is the nail spot people.
I love this place! I went after a friend recommended me. They fixed the bad job that another salon did for me. And here, photos of the bad work that I got in the previous salon. vs the one they made me.
