Less than 2 days and my nails are already peeling.
They also lack in making good simple designs.
Came in for a gel manicure and eyebrow waxing. Manicurist was a bit rough and my gel came out horrible but, she was pleasant and i guess nervous because her hands were shaking. As I am sitting there I realize everytime someone came in they asked for Amy... If someone didn't have "Amy" working on them they were complaining about their service and requesting Amy. The technicians are very much not experienced at all in what they are doing, they are just there to help in whatever way possible. One person running around trying to fix issues and take care of her own appointments is not a successful business at all. I even had to request for Any to-do my eyebrows, which came out beautiful. Hopefully things will get better but I will not be returning
No like it use to be. This use to be the place to go but now your paying to get your nails and toes done that don't last but 2 days and the prices are ridiculous!!
I got my pedicure from Eva on April 24th 2021. It’s now June 13th and my toes are still thriving! Going back this week for a new pedi. Not one chip, or gem out of place! Really nice and accommodating staff. So glad they’re close by!
They are clean and fast however i walked out dissatisfied. I wanted my nails done for graduation pictures. I showed a lady how i wanted my nails to be done and she assured me that she can do it exactlu that way. To my dissapointment she lied horribly. I will certainly not be going there anymore. They are only good at simple styles.
The technician did a decent job with my nails but she was rude. Also definitely over charged me. 1st she said mani and pedi 18$ & treatment $5 total of 23$. She gave me a bill for 33$. She was rude because she wanted me to pay before she was finish. I said No she got mad and then start talking mess to her coworkers. I would go back but definitely not to her ! I wish I knew her name.
I moved nearby about a few weeks ago. I passed the salon daily and decided to give them a try. They opened at about 10am on Saturday and the wait was already 30-45 minutes for mani and pedi. Regular pedi went by without a hitch.
I needed my gel removed and replaced. The young girl manicurist cut them and filed them down sooo short you could see frayed skin and my nails were wacky shapes. Not the ROUND I requested. She begins to do my nails in orange sorbet color. They literally ended looking like a toddler did them. They are actually beginning to come off today ( 3 days later) as she didn't allow them to dry as long as I told her I should. This was THE WORST gel manicure I have ever gotten.
Based on the frequent visitors at the salon, MARY, is the go to to get anything worthwhile done. If you aren't able to get her, I would head to another salon. MILLENNIAL NAILS in Bedstuy is AMAZING!!!! I will definitely be heading back to them after this awful experience.
I wish I can give them no stars... went for a gel pedicure with my mother.. payed 70 total plus tip between the 2 of us..by the time I got home i really took a look at my nails(you see different when you get home).. ...my nail polish was in the crease .of my nail bed onto my skin.. ...so i go to remove it the whole nail polish came clean right off.. ...this happened to 3 of my nails.. I called and told them what happened they said come back we will fix it.. ..when I get there they said ohh we busy but wait till someone is free but you might have to pay(....they must be crazy) 45 mins go by and other people came in and got serviced. To be continued...
