I’ve been going to Marys since she was at JT‘s down the street. I only let one person do my hair and that’s necey she does great hair she’s fast and she don’t Stop to eat or anything like Mary Sister does.
I travelled to Upscale hair braiding shop today from Trenton nj for some feedin braids going to a ponytail thankfully they accepted me as a walk in I showed the owner of the shop the picture and she did it with no hesitation fast and neat also this is the first time I ever left a African shop with no headache she was very gentle and respectful I love my hair yes I would recommend this shop I’m very satisfied
I hate the front of my hair she know she's suppose to leave hair out in front for the edges. She pulled it all back and my niece had to do front over. Also they only do box braids. U have to make an appointment for regular braids. That's crazy.
I gave 1 star because the lady was friendly but for One I paid a different/higher price from what Marry told me my hair style was gonna be over the phone (after I sent the picture). On top of that the lady who did my hair didn't know how to do naturally thick hair, my hair was a mess but I paid acted like a lady and will never go back. Now I thought doing hair you are taught to deal with all types of hair and when I went to the hair salon I normally go to they done the hair style I got at Marry's or similar and never had a problem with doing my hair... smdh too bad they moved ???? upscale fell all the way off
Been here plenty of times but the last time I went a pregnant girl worked on my hair and I told her that the braids were too tight and my scalp was burning she said it would be fine and put foam and spray on it. Here we are 3 weeks later I have a head full of scabs and my hairline is completely gone. I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND Queen and Olivia.
This place was amazing!! First off I called at 400 pm with my hair still weaved up they took me at 5 and helped me take my hair out ..gave me beautiful waist length knotless twist Ata unbeatable price for a salon ...this place is a must go !!
