This was our second visit and it was an unfortunate one. Our first visit was waaay better than this one and maybe it was an off day (which is understandable). Johnathan has the skills ???????? but the customer service is lacking (well today it was).
There is a lot of favoritism and it's towards those who regularly come whereas those who don't come often, aren't treated with the same decency as others.
If you, as the barber, are in a bad mood, it should not get taken out on the customer and or the people they bring with them. Whereas those who are regular, are greeted with a whole different vibe than those who may not come often.
This is where communication is key regardless of whether or not a customer is new or old and this is also why people cannot come together because there's ego, attitudes and selfishness involved. Your customer (s) could very well be millionaires, investors, contractors etc. ????????
If you as a barber feel that a look or a service is better than another, VOICE that suggestion-this is how relationships are built.
Making slick comments, when you are being met with respect and understanding, is unnecessary and very rude.
I went to the same barber a male and he had a huge attitude.
I guess he was having a off day?
He didn't cut my hair good at all and I came back for him to reshape what he should have done the first time.
Then he rushing me telling me hurry up time is ???????? money. He had a attitude when I asked for a mirror ????.
This guy has really good barber ???? skills and I cannot judge him completely on one day.
But regardless you have to be professional at all times in business. I will change barber's based on this experience.
There was a female barber I was noticing her work she seemed very skilled and her customer service and attitude is much better.
So I was nervous going because I'm a female without her husband, so I'm awkward by myself. But the vibe in that place was CRAZY! Jay hooked me all the way up. He had me looking so good! My cut was so feminine and fit my style so well. Music was nice. Good conversations. No wonder my hubby likes this place ????????????????????????
Such an amazing and talented group of men! They gladly took us in as walk-ins and did two haircuts on my boys and did a straight shave on Dad! They treat you like family. And they take pride in their work! We will be customers for life! ❤️
A true barbershop experience. Good conversation, music, and professionalism. The shop's owner and master barber, Don, makes everyone feel welcome... you're not just a customer... you're family here.
The three other barbers in the shop are just as skilled as Don. There's no "bad chair" in this shop. Low fades, longer styles, shaves, and razor line-ups as well; they can do it all. I highly recommend Uppercuts.

Maxwell "Max Max" did an excellent job. Went to another Barbershop a week ago, trying to find a new Barber, and ended up at Uppercuts. Mad Max was on point, listened to what I wanted, and gave me an excellent cut and tape
If i could give a thousand star rating this place would have it. The best barbershop experience I've had in a very long time. If you're looking for not only a good cut but quality service, this is the place to visit. Once you get a cut from Max I promise you'll be back!
