Relaxed,clean and very structured Nail Salon. All the technicians are great from manicures to pedicures. Walk-ins are welcomed.....that's me!????. They do strongly encourage appointments. I also appreciate the prompt/professional service . I do have my "Favorite technician " His name is ( Long).
The lady who did my nails was really nice but it took 2 and a half hours to do just my nails and she ended up cutting my finger a bit but she apologized
I’ve been going here for forever. Over the last year the service has just been going down and down, I set appointments and have to wait 15/30 minutes for my apt. I always schedule a manicure and pedicure. In between my appointments I have to wait another 15/30 minutes. I don’t get an apology. Today I walked out and I will not be returning. Quality of service is poor, the staff is rude, they don’t communicate about the wait and they over book. Also I got my eyebrows done last time and the woman took off almost half of my right eyebrow.
Despite the nasty reviews, I’ve now been there 4 times for gel nails and paint and I’ve never had a problem. I always went in as a walk in and was seen quickly. The staff was always very nice and I haven’t had an ugly set of nails from anyone so far. They have the prices on a board right at the entrance. And I was able to pay with credit and tip on the credit card. I will take a star away for lack of cleanliness. I was kinda grossed out the last time I went by how filthy the table and dryers were.
I have been going here for a long time , I always see Kathy she is great; but a couple weeks ago I decided to get a full set acrylic which I was told Kathy doesn't do that. So I had someone I never had do them which that time it was not so bad she could of made the nail a little more round but that's really it . So two weeks after that I had to obviously get a fill , The technician Tiffany ended up doing them , which don't even let her do your nails , she took forever which I wouldn't of minded if they came out nice , instead it looked like I didn't even have a fill and there were bumps all over my nails .. so I asked for a refund and the lady who I believe was the owner was being nice about it but the lady who does eye brows kept basically saying no we will give you a gift card then the owner finally just gave me my money back . IF YOU ARE GOING FOR SHELLAC ASK FOR KATHY IF YOU ARE GOING FOR SOMETHING ELSE DONT GO !!
I went on Saturday, made an appointment for 3 mani/pedis and eyebrow waxing for my mother and I. When we got there no one was ready to start even though someone was already getting a pedicure. After I had gotten my nails done I waited about an hour and a half for someone to be freed up to wax me and I started to grow irritated when I noticed that they were starting walk ins before finishing my appointment. It finally got to the point where I decided not to get waxed and just pay and leave because after 2 hours of killing time and being patient I had had it. Overall bad service, not very attentative to guests needs which is a shame because the quality isn't bad. It's just not worth being ignored and waiting for hours even though you scheduled an appointment.
I got a deluxe mani-pedi. I messed up my nails putting my shoes back on (my fault) and was annoyed by it, but didn't bother going back to the lady to ask her to fix it since she had already moved on to the next person. I was SO impressed with my pedicure, with how nice the woman was and how much time and effort she put into the whole thing that it made it well worth the money even after I messed up the polish. It was regular polish not gel so it was going to flake off sooner or later at work.
This place is simply terrible. Some months ago, I came in to get a pedicure done. I arrived at the exact same time as another customer. The woman at the desk told us to have a seat. While sitting, 2 more customers came in and was told the same. The woman at the desk asked the 3 other women in there to get services what they were getting done and placed them at a table to get helped. She never even asked me, nor looked at me. I was so embarrassed. I rather than put up an obnoxious scene, I walked away in Shame. I should have learned my lesson after this first terrible experience, but I came back to give another try. What did I do that for? I wish 0 stars were an option, because that would be my rating. Today, I arrive to get a gel Manicure and was refused service. I asked why and the woman at the desk informed me that I was too late to have services done. Not to mention, she welcomes 2 other customers after me. She walked away to speak with another woman and came back telling I still could not get services done today. I asked for the name of the manager and said her name was May. When I asked to speak with her, she (May) refused to speak to me. The woman on the phone continued to tell me I should have come in earlier and I can come back tomorrow. She went onto say, that although they close at 8:30, it is their practice to stop accepting new customers at 8pm because of closing. I asked her for clarification 3 times on this, as she accepted 2 customers after me! I'll never go back and will tell everyone I know about these experiences at Tranquility Day Spa!!!
