My tech was hearing impaired yet did better than many other places I've been. Only reason I didn't give a 5 was bc even with the paraffin and all, the heels of my feet aren't baby smooth. I'll get them together at home but shouldn't have to for what I paid.
Always a pleasant experience at Tina’s. Her nail technicians are easy and fun to chat with too. They have a good variety of colors and always do such nice work. It’s so nice to have a nail salon in the neighborhood!
This has been my summer nail spot and they do not disappoint! I can go one month between fillings without a nail falling off and the polish is clean and not streaky. Perfect almond shape and an assortment of great colors, the staff is friendly, A+ clean and friendly. Very relaxing atmosphere, and I wish I would’ve discovered this gem sooner.
Credit Card machine has been broken for months, arrived today hoping it would be fixed was told cash only. I left went to get cash, waited my turn. Once I was in the chair I showed a picture of the shape and color I wanted, Tina stated she could do. Cut all nail tips into coffin shape which was opposite of picture. When I told her they were wrong she started to yell at me (there were other customers that began to watch incident) she stated I would have to pay her $10 extra dollars to do them over (nails had tip only no acrylic). Will not be returning.
Discrimination, on 11/25. I walked in and Tina informed me she refused to do my nails. No reason was provided, a video camera captured as well as a witness in store. The last time I had an issue with her not wanting to fix a nail she filed incorrectly after I paid extra for service. Disrespect to Africa America clients by charging more for services that are not posted. Will contact BBB since I originally paid for gift certificates and are now unable to refund or use.
I got my nails done here twice. The first time I got a full set and pedicure. The guy who did my nails cut them too short and didn't scrub my feet well enough. Tina did my nails and I was pleased. After only a week two of my nails came off. I decided to give them one more chance. The last time I went a young guy did them. He was slower and seemed inexperienced. My nails lasted a week. I'm a stay at home mom so I'm not doing anything strenuous with my hands. I expected my nails to last at least 2 weeks. Sorry to say I will not be going back to them. Such a waste of money. Especially since I also got gel nails.
I went early on Saturday. The staff was very polite. I got a fill in with gel polish. My nails looked great when I left. But two days later, all of the gel polish is chipped and coming off ????
I advise you to never go to this salon unless you rather waste your money. The staff if very unprofessional and Tina didn’t was very rude when I asked her to fix my shape. The salon was very unsanitary which is very shocking considering Covid.
