I've only had takeaways from here during lunch at work, they're always done on time and ready to go which is important during a work lunch time, the food is fresh and hot, no doubt a great service that other establishments should aim for, the staff are welcoming and courteous and are happy to bring it out to your car while you wait for it to be bagged/packed for you.

It is spotlessly clean. The food is well prepared with unbelievable consistency and quality. Ask a golfer how important consistency is. The quality of the food is incredible, I used to eat there on week ends when I worked. I am now retired and I eat there almost daily. Sometimes I cannot due to illness. I am now in much better health than I was and so I eat there 5+ days a week. The value for money is unbeatable. They also do a meal of the day Do not try to get in on a Thursday. Roast beef etc. The locals arrive in a swarm. It has a friendly helpful staff and they are genuine people. Not the 'have a nice day' insincerity of corporate America... Mc Donald's etc. If you are in the area do yourself a favour drop in you'll be pleasantly surprised. Great food, Great people any nice prices. Only downside is the weather. In bad weather it's full of builders that are making the best of things. They will drive miles to come here as do many van drivers and service engineers of BT and British gas. It's one of the best kept 'bad secrets' I know of. Visit once you will understand. A proper cafe with everything going for it.

Myself and a few work colleagues popped into the cafe during a break. The cafe was clean and a very happy environment. The ladies cooking were kind and polite and engaged in conversation with us. The food was simply stunning and filled the spot for our very busy day ahead. The cafe serves a great menu and a range of hot and cold drinks. The prices are relatively low also!!!

The only down side was that they only took cash payments which was a slight pain for us as there wasn't a cash machine for about a mile walk
