What a fantastic pub, cracking pint,friendly landlord an landlady, stooped in history, dog friendly too, definitely go there again and highly recommend calling if you are able..

Lovely pub whilst visiting with family and our doggies. Very cosy and makes you feel like your in some sort of history film. Cracking cornflake cakes to. Thanks for a nice visit!

Old charm historic pub inside and out. Dog friendly- always essential to our family ambles :)) I enjoyed the Salopain breweries 'Hop Twister' !

Popped in for lunch recently as I saw this hidden gem of a pub is dog friendly; the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming to us all. Had some good food from a menu which was nicely different to usual pub grub and not overpriced for what we got. Oh and the beer was very good!

Edit…Original review was only 4 stars as the atmosphere on the two days I visited was a bit lacking . However I have been back with my 4 legged mate and it’s been a lot more lively. Definitely worth a visit.
