First time coming to this establishment and wanted to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted. I went with the Henna tint. The threading shape was pretty good, but you have to sit and wait for the Henna color to take. When she wiped it off, I was not impressed. I should’ve known better considering she shaped my eyebrows with a Q tip and therefore my shape was more smudged than defined. Then she went in with the natural tint(more time to sit and wait) and all honestly, it didn’t change much. I finally decided to just leave because my brows were not getting better. Checking out, and she asked “oh no extra tip”? Hell naw there’s no extra tip after I have wasted all this time. Definitely will not be visiting again.
Anytime somebody takes long and is very very slow doing one hair at a time that means they don't know what they're doing! My eyebrows are thick and she jacked up my eyebrows that I let grow out for 2 months because it was jacked up but gave them another chance.... all I said was clean it up she did I don't know what???!!
I should’ve listen to my friends and my gut by not coming here. I’ve been here a few other times and you’ve done a pretty good job, but the last two times have just not been good. Literally horrible. I’m in front of a camera all the time and The lady who did my brows attempted to arch one and left the other in a straight line and swore up and down that they were both even when you could clearly see with the naked eye that they weren’t. Then when she asked me was I satisfied and I told her no. She sat me back in the chair and continued to remove brows from the closest to an arch one. Still not touching the straight one. Then tried to fix it with a brow pencil. Literally showed with my finger the difference in the brows. She literally had an attitude with me walking out the door cause she messed my brows up. I am very disappointed that I wasted $10 and still have to go fix them. I will not be back here again. I should’ve went to Arches around the corner
Usually when i come to get eyebrows threaded they do well. But today this lady was being so aggressive with my brows - there were literally spot of bleeding. And still burning/hurting 2 hours later. Plus she didn’t do a good job. I look like i have thick caterpillars on my face. I am so disappointed. I haven’t stopped crying about how bad the brows look. I just have to wait for them to grow back. And go somewhere else.
Went to get lashes done and the very next day most of them came out. When I went back it wasn't the same initial lady who did them the first time. However, she said this is normal after a few days. It was the very next day!!! My lashes never fall out and last two weeks. She tried to tell me they were mink lashes, no, not at all. Accept that your coworker did a bad job. I won't be getting my eyelashes ever done here again!!!!
I have been getting my eyebrows done here for a few months by different people each time. Today, however was by far my worst experience and I will not be coming back. The lady kept complaining about how my eyebrows have overgrown and are too thick. She repeatedly told me how much time it was taking as if it was my fault. Not only that, but after she finished, I was bleeding in multiple areas. When it time to pay, she said she didn’t accept credit cards but didn’t tell me that before. I thankfully had a large bill with me which she said she doesn’t have change for. She then went to back for 5 minutes looking for change. Finally I left and they have lost a returning customer. I recommend going to arches in arbor place mall instead.
Update:
Seems as though they have adjusted their technique to be less painful. I found out it’s all depending on the person threading and how they handle the thread. One of the ladies is drastically lighter handed than the other, so I try to stick with her. I don’t remember her name but she is the shorter one. My eyebrows still don’t come out the way I’d like, however it’s not as noticeable as it use to be. Given that the mall is the only other option In the area, threading salon is my choice because I can always get in and out and their customer service exceeds that of the mall ladies. Added two stars for their improvements
The ladies are nice, the actual service is just ok. I've been several times and each time I ask for a clean up my eyebrows come out thinner and thinner and not following the previous shape. Also I found it to be very painful compared to other threading places. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 5 years now and it's normally tolerable, but here I literally want to jump out the chair in pain the whole time. Not sure if they are heavy handed or if it's the type of thread, but it's happened on more than one occasion.
I’m always skeptical when trying a new brow place because i have very dark thick eyebrows and a scar in one of them. I’ve had them pencil thin and then barely touched.
After my first time here I was hooked! They do a wonderful job and style them exactly how i like , plus they’re inexpensive.
