Having East Asian style hair (really straight and spiky), struggled to find a barber that fully understands how to work around it and recommend what I should do. At times I’ve been to get a haircut at other places and just left regretting it. Theo’s experience definitely shows, you can tell he’s dealt with multiple hair types and I don’t see myself going to anyone else now. He’s extremely busy and you need to book well in advance but well worth it, reasonably priced too for a top quality service.
Has been giving me a trim for 30+ years and can’t complain. Excellent value for money. Have had haircuts once a year since I was born in exchange for weekly cleaning the bathroom, loading the dishwasher, as well as sweeping up the hair and cleaning the mirrors in the barbershop. Every now and again I had to get Theo lunch from the local cafe (he likes the tuna sandwich on the fat bread).

No customer service. Has respect of first come first serve. Either keep your shop as appointment only. Everyone is paying. Customers coming without an appointment are not getting a free haircut. Utterly pathetic

I've been coming to Theo for roughly 26 years and can say he is the absolute best.
He's not just someone who picked up scissors and decided to become a barber but someone who is fully trained and qualified and he also has an immense amount of experience which is evident from the work he carries out.
I've been to a few other places over the years so when I say he is the absolute best I feel that is an accurate reflection.
Theo's cut three generations of hair in my family, my Dad, mine and my brothers and now my 3 boys.

Best barber in East London/Essex & beyond. I've been a regular customer of 15+ years and during that time have had many different hairstyles (mainly in my younger years!) which Theo has always crafted to perfection. Also love the family atmosphere and banter and would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!
