Whenever I’m going this way on my motorbike I make this my coffee break or meeting place. The food is great and reasonably priced. The staff are amazing! So friendly and always welcome me and my biker buddies with open arms and a bottle of visor cleaner! Much needed after riding the local roads. I noticed all the four legged visitors getting a bowl of fresh water and biscuit too! Would recommend all motorbike riders to stop off at this awesome little local cafe.
We found this cafe while walking past it and managed to find one table! It was quite packed with people and the decor was really interesting. The food was amazing and I had the best sticky toffee pudding here without a doubt. The staff were really nice and friendly too.
Dog friendly cafe that welcomes dogs, not just accepting them. Nice little bag of of dog treats along with a bowl of water arrived within minutes of sitting down. Exceptionally well priced full menu available. You won't have to worry about them running out of cups, they have a collection hanging from the ceiling.
A lovely cosy cafe and perhaps the most dog friendly spot for food we've ever been to! Toys and treats for our pup while we enjoyed delicious homemade soup and a pot of tea. Super friendly staff as well. We'll be back for sure x
Had a really nice lunch here, then came back for tea and cake the next day which was just as good! Super friendly staff, quick service and lots of veggie/vegan options.
Great little cafe in the heart of Kirkby Stephen. Opens at 10am we arrived about 10:05 and got the very last table because it is so popular, they also had to turn 4 couples away because they were full. Very dog friendly with fresh water and a treat for every dog. The owners are very friendly and the food was hot and delicious and also reasonably priced. We will definitely be back next time we are anywhere near.
5* and more if I could! Soup of the day was outstandingly delicious (minted pea). Carrot cake superbly moist. As for friendliness, never been made to feel so welcome. Highly recommended!!!! Well done and thank you...will be stopping off again in the morning en route back down south.
Great food! Lovely people, quaint decor and very cosy atmosphere. I highly recommend the soup & quiche.
