Traditional small pub selling good value food and drink. The mixed grill in particular is huge with proper old school chips like you'd have had growing up before everything became oven chips. Very nice and easy to recommend.
Nice traditional Pub with a friendly atmosphere. Good home cooking at value for money prices. The Steak Pie and Chips is a very popular choice. Highly recommended.
Really welcoming and warm atmosphere however the food we had was unfortunately not good , no flavour at all and boiled this included the salmon and the curry no seasoning at all . The chips were lovely though. There were loads of regulars in so think the items we had maybe should be taken off the menu and concentrate on those dishes people keep coming back for .
Fantastic, hearty food at a great price. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely a good place to stop for some lunch.

Visited this place last sunday for lunch. It was served in time and the food was hot. The service was good. The meal was average. Not worth travelling for.
Love this pub, been going for many years, good food also....
