Lovely cup of coffee and a ice-cream for junior ;-)....best toilets for miles.
Popped in for a hot drink and ice creams, service was very good . Toilets were open to the public and parking is only available when cafe is open. We took a walk to the Viking ship to show my grandson. Out for a drive and we fancied a cup of tea at the Viking Ship Cafe but all closed up . Later we learnt it was under new ownership.
Let’s hope it is run has smoothly as previous lovely owners .

A cute, simple little cafe in a slightly odd place. Just off the road side, sitting next to a replica Viking ship. It’s a nice little picnic area, with a slight sea view.
The coffee was nice and the location is pleasant. It wasn’t overly busy when we passed through, however it probably can get very busy as it’s highly listed on google and ‘things to do’ websites. I think it also has a road sign.
The cafe has a great choice of food snacks and cakes at good prices along with hot and cold drinks, we brought a black forest gateau, cappuccino and cheese crisps, the cappuccino was really nice and the cake was beautiful, handmade and beautifully fresh
I would definitely recommend a visit if passing by
Great service, lovely views, clean toilets. Reasonably priced cafe that we drove past recently and went back to visit today. It was nice and busy which is always a good sign with independent food places. Will definitely visit again
What a glorious spot for coffee, cake and ice creams.
Great outdoor cafe, plenty of tables, simple but good food / snacks / ice cream, etc. Friendly staff and free parking within the Pegwell Bay Country Park.
