Really good service. Value for money , decent portions all served hot. Friendly atmosphere. Could do with a bit of background music in the restaurant area in my opinion but that’s a minor issue. Izzy and the two other bar staff were very approachable and friendly. We will definitely visit again . Decent range of beers and spirits at a reasonable price too. Excellent pub and restaurant ????
Staying at the caravan site up the road, we popped down for an evening meal. Very fast service, excellent food, cooked to perfection, and, according to my other half, a good pint of Guinness too. Plus, the waffles with bananas are to die for! We'll be back before we leave the area
Good meal, wide choice on menu and prices are reasonable. They kindly opened the restaurant for us even though the head chef was on holiday. It was quiet so unable to give a proper score for atmosphere.
Service was excellent.
Xmas work meal...
STARTERS..were lovely,
MAIN turkey was not slices it was rolled with stuffing inside, tasted greasy, one person didnt like stuffing so didnt eat it,
DESERTS...Cheese cake was horrible 4 of us didnt like it, asked if we could have something else and was told no & that nobody else has complained before.
SERVICE...was excellent the girls worked really hard. They where very friendly & helpful.

Had my grandmothers wake at this place. Classic country pub amazing staff and great service lovely garden and very very clean. Would recommend people to visit the tins if there are in doddington or March
Great little pub, with very good and attentive bar staff. The food was standard pub fare but cooked well and was quality produce.
Afternoon tea, what a great addition to an already fabulous pub! A great selection of sandwiches, cakes and warm scones with jam and cream. Cream teas also available as it the option to enjoy a glass (or two!) of prosecco. Looking forward to another visit very soon!
Excellent food and service, great value for money. I only rated 4 for atmosphere, only because it was quiet on this occasion. It is a great place for a stop off, lovely staff and customers.
