What a gorgeous find!! We went for lunch. So much choice on the menu it was hard to pick. Food was quick, very tasty and big portions. Reasonably priced - €56 for three people plus drinks. The decor and atmosphere was really refreshing. We sat in the conservatory which has a rustic & arty feel. Friendly waiting staff. Would definitely go back if I'm in Carlow again!!

Went for a late lunch and decided to try almost all the cocktails lol they were nice. Some were too sweet because they now use a bought in syrups like you would use on ice cream. The Moscow mule was the best for me my husband liked the purple rain. Food is great as always
Food was great, and the bar staff were really friendly. It was the first time in Carlow and the Terrace left a good impression. If my travels ever take me back to Carlow I would definitely eat here again. Prices are reasonable to so I was happy all round.

Had a wait at the end for dessert but they were delicious so I can't really give out.
Horror service, ordered drinks at the dinn ri bar which was no problem. The problem arose when my girlfriend and her friend got separated and walked to the arcade to find each other only to be then told they weren't going to be allowed back in because it was too late. Even though they'd been there since 9oclock! I walked out to see what was going on only to also be told I couldn't go back in. Even after I explained that I had just ordered drinks that were on the bar inside the doorman was having none of it. I asked him to speak to the manager and he threatens to call the Garda. So they just take your money and then refuse access to the product that you've paid for. Sent a message via social media but it's now four days later and no response. Avoid at all costs.
I've never liked the food in Dinn Rí, except the scones and coffee, but that's not why I go there. We were a bunch of ladies having an informal get together in the Library. We were able to hear each other, which is what we wanted. Clean, friendly staff, lots of room. Clean toilets. Cosy fire. This was a Tuesday evening 7-9:30pm.
Was in the Tower later on 80/90 night, was brilliant till all of the foundry poured in!! Good music I suppose, but too many allowed in, left after that!!
