I thought it was quiet for a Saturday but no matter. Our hostess was lovely. We reserved a table and we were seated in the snug. I had the steak and kidney pie: the crust was perfection and the filling tender with just the right amount of gravy. The rest of the party were very happy with their choices too.

Really nice Pub. Dog-friendly area and great service. Good range of food with some dishes a bit different to typical pub grub, as well as the usual favourites. Would definitely recommend
I have not been to the Swan for a very long time so thought it was an ideal opportunity to visit over the fathers day weekend. The meal was lovely the service very good but my only comment is we had to ask for the menu after waiting for a short time other than is it was great.
Use to be a lovely pub. Looks like they are doing what they can to run it into the ground so the licence can change. No doubt to turn it into some sort of day care or residential. They have to prove a lack of income year upon year for up to 3 years. But they also have to prove they have "attempted" to remedy the situation by renovating. In this case they turned a traditional yet unique pub into a bland weatherspoons knock off. The owner also has on numerous occasions thrown "banter" at patrons then became hostile if anyone joins in. Seen it time and time again. Root out any chance of returning custom. It will be a huge loss to the area if The Swan goes the way of the Dodo.
Good country pub. The beer is well kept (always a good start), and the food good. Normal pub menu, prices as you would expect in South Bucks, we enjoyed the meal, and will return next time we walk in the area. If you eat there, make sure you leave room for a dessert. So often pub puddings are a disappointment, but these were really good, probably the best meal out crumble I’ve ever had.
A typical British pub with quaint low ceilings, fire place and decor. The menu doesn't try hard and keeps to simply basic pub grub. The sunday roast is flavourful with fantastic yorkies, however the meat portion was rather skimpy. Roast beef looked like 3 disappointing rashes of bacon in size. Not a great selection of beer (Stella tasted more like a weak citrus beer). Room for improvement but not a bad pub.
Arrived without reservation was told by the manager that there was a table for 2 but might be some wait for food.
Placed our order for food ready for a wait, low & behold 15 min later 2 hot delicious meals were served.
Had 2 lovely desserts.
The Timothy Taylor bitter was a lovely drop of beer as well.
Hats off to management & staff.
Nice Sunday lunch. Children's portions are huge. No proper baby change facilities just a mat in the ladies toilet. Online booking didn't work so it was a good thing we checked with them prior to turning up.
