Gemütliches Pub mit leckerem Essen.
Went for Sunday lunch and was a bit disappointed. Found the meal to be lacking in flavour. Yorkshire pudding did not taste fresh and the gravy was not home made. Shame, because the staff are so incredibly welcoming. Maybe a good place for drinks but if your a foodie looking for traditional home made meal this might not be the place for you. Sorry for the three stars Station Hotel ????
My parent's love local to here and love popping in for food.
We have been twice in the past month and loved both visits.
The half parmos are huge and very good. The chicken is of a high quality!
I honestly think getting a full parmo and sharing it between two would be better for your money..
The prices for food and drink is well priced and it's good knowing you can have good meal on the cheap.

What can I say? Absolutely brilliant Sunday lunch, walk in customer. I normally have a takeaway Sunday lunch, which was closed today. I phoned others to pick up after work, also closed. The Station Hotel/Pub is very local to me. I got there around 1pm. It was very busy, which shows the quality of the Carvery. I went 'Large!' mmm, totally wiped me out, had an afternoon nap. The meat choice of 4 was was class. I choose 2. I will definitely be back for Sunday Lunch. Exceptional. Jon.
