A wonderfully compact country village tearoom with a lovely range of food. The menu isn't huge but there's enough to suit most tastes. The breakfasts are tasty and filling and the light lunches are delicious. We haven't tried the cakes yet but they look mouth watering.
Lovely little teahouse in the centre of nice village Alfriston. We were sitting on the pavement enjoying delicious food and watching historical buildings around. Amazing food and service. The best mocha coffee i have ever had so smooth. We are definitely coming back!
Zeer sympathiek theehuis waar je heerlijk kunt ontbijten en lunchen. Prima koffie en veel vegan opties. Klein terrasje buiten waar je met goed weer midden in een pittoresk Engels dorpje zit. Aanrader.

We visited today and spent some time admiring the gorgeous surroundings Alfriston has to offer, sitting outside when the weather's good is ideal for some people watching.
The food was great and reasonably priced, service with a smile and food came out very quickly ????????
The best vegan breakfast I’ve ever eaten ???? it was so good I didn’t even stop to take a photo! Was so pleased by how welcoming they were too when two soaking wet humans and two soaking wet dogs turned up.. they made us feel welcome, warm and satisfied! Thank you ???? ????????
The table was dirty and had older dishes so we had to ask for it to be cleaned after 10 minutes, they cleaned it with bathroom cleaner and left the table wet. The scones were burnt and they gave us white bread instead of brown with the Salmon sandwich without saying that there wasn't any left. However the portions were a good size and there was a calm cozy atmosphere. It is dog friendly but its quite small so not good for children.

I was already in live with the beautiful village but eating at The Singing Kettle was a really great for me. The place is small but gorgeous, old but refreshing, and all round nice. The customer relations was top-notch and the food, oh my God. I can still taste it in my mouth.
Take me back to Alfriston ❤️
A small tea room nicely decorated and very welcoming. good value with nice staff.
