Quick Facts About The Priory Cafe

The Priory Cafe has several strengths that make it a popular and beloved place among its customers. One of its main strengths is the loyal and regular clientele that Kathy and Frank have developed over the years. This speaks volumes about the quality of their food and the excellent customer service they provide. In today's highly competitive market, it is not easy to build such a loyal following, so this is a testament to the cafe's success.
Customers also appreciate the cafe's independence and its status as a hidden gem in Ruislip. Despite the cafe's quality and value, many people in the area are unaware of its existence. This gives the cafe a sense of exclusivity and means that customers can easily find a seat without it being overcrowded. The fact that it has been described as the "Jewel on the Crown of the Highstreet" further illustrates its status as a hidden gem that is highly regarded by those who know about it.
Another strength of The Priory Cafe is its comprehensive menu and daily specials. Customers can enjoy a variety of options for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and even a quick tea stop. The menu is reasonably priced, and the food is cooked fresh to order. Customers appreciate the effort that Kathy and Frank put into sourcing their produce locally, ensuring that everything is of high quality. The fact that nothing is precooked or reheated demonstrates their commitment to providing fresh and delicious meals.
The cafe is also dog friendly, which is a significant advantage for pet owners. Well-behaved dogs are welcomed, allowing customers to enjoy their meals without having to leave their furry friends at home. This shows that Kathy and Frank have considered the needs of their customers and created a welcoming environment for both humans and animals.
Customer service is another notable strength of The Priory Cafe. The elderly couple who run the cafe are described as friendly, welcoming, and with a great sense of humor. Customers feel at home as soon as they walk through the door and appreciate the personal and attentive service they receive. The fact that they can accommodate specific requests, such as creating custom dishes, further highlights their dedication to providing a positive dining experience for every customer.
The portions of food served at The Priory Cafe are also mentioned as a strength. Customers describe the portions as being of good size, ensuring that they leave the cafe feeling satisfied. The food itself is praised for being cooked well, and there are no negative comments regarding the quality or taste.
In terms of weaknesses, there are very few comments that could be construed as negative. One comment mentions that the cafe was busy when they visited, which could be seen as a downside for those looking for a quieter atmosphere. However, this can also be seen as a testament to the cafe's popularity and quality.
Overall, The Priory Cafe seems to have many strengths that make it an excellent place to visit. The loyal clientele, comprehensive menu, fresh and delicious food, friendly service, and dog-friendly environment all contribute to its positive reputation. While the weaknesses are minimal, it is evident from the overwhelmingly positive comments that The Priory Cafe is highly regarded and worth a visit for anyone in Ruislip.

Despite living in Ruislip forever we only discovered this little gem at the start of 2022 now a regular haunt. Kathy & Frank have developed a loyal regular clientele which speaks volumes in this day & age . A lovely independent bijou cafe great for breakfast/brunch/lunch or a quick tea stop. Dog friendly for well behaved dogs A full and comprehensive menu plus daily specials, all reasonably priced & cooked fresh to order & always a warm welcome & great humour from them both. In summer you can sit outside & watch the world go by. Kathy & Frank do all they can to locally source their produce ensuring it is all high quality, nothing precooked & reheated here. Great milkshakes, iced coffees and hot chocolate ???? Very definitely worth a visit - great food and customer service from an independent ????????????????????????????☕️????
Cute little place run by an elderly couple. Food was cooked well and the portions were of a good size. They also offer a takeaway service. The restaurant has seating inside and outside and was busy when we went.
Such a great couple who you feel at home with as soon as you walk through that door.
With a sense of humour, who will do their upmost to cater for your needs.
I am awkward git,
I always create my own dishes and it’s never a problem
( Just always shout “Thanks Chef!” Towards the kitchen, works every time)
As a former Chef, Myself I cant Fault the food.
Never have had a bad dish, and blooming good value too.
It’s the Jewel on the Crown of the Highstreet,
And yet so many people don’t even know it’s there!
Which is a Shame in a way,
but it means I get a seat!
Go for Breakky,
Or lunch.
Just remember...
Once you ordered...
Shout Towards the Kitchen...
“Thanks Chef!!”
