I love this pub! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Really good for entertainment- we saw a singer called Ruby perform last night she was great fun.
Absolutely disgusted , I’ve just been to this pub/ restaurant and disappointed is putting it mildly. I’d booked my table but that wasn’t ready two guys were faffing about about moving tables here n there , there’s a lovely dog walking around but not surely in and around people eating, then we get to the clientele shouting out loud about recent activity with his fresh foreskin !!!!! I’m not a prude but I don’t expect that kind of talk being shouted out in a public place. The menu is temporary which upon booking should have been explained there was no starters no sweets and chips with everything, to say I’m disappointed is an understatement , but I will never be entering this pub again
Garden and staff are lovely but the food was a disappointment. I have eaten here multiple times and its never been as bad as the recent time. Food wasn't that nice, food sent back as it was still frozen but this was taken of the bill, and a meal was missing.
Definitely a Sunday roast place.
On the menu for Sunday, it's the roast and not much else.
The decorum inside is a bit 1970s, with plaid carpet (never thought I'd see one).
The staff is nice, we went in with a baby and got bumped to a bigger table with more room.
Pint variety is there, but don't expect dry ciders.
The food is definitely the highlight. Not a gastropub, but grandma's level quality and quantity.
I’ve driven past this pub for over 25 yrs. popped in today on the off chance for lunch. Was greeted by really friendly staff. And very accommodating to. Food portions were plentiful, with plenty to choose from. My daughter is on the ASD spectrums and only eats burgers when out. These wasn’t on the menu but when asked, staff said they could serve her a cheeseburger. High compliment from my daughter she said the burger was so good she would happily back for a meal again. Highly recommend.

I joined a group of lovely people he recently for a funeral wake. I found the pub to be really pleasant with great stuff and a comfortable environment. Really friendly people I would definitely recommend this pub.
We've visited this pub on a couple of occasions before and have always been impressed by the warm friendly welcome from the staff, the excellent family friendly beer garden and the reasonably priced meals. We can only applaud the way the manager deals with order problems too. Basically we had ordered a main meal was no longer available however they took well over three quarters of an hour to advise us this was the case. The issue was immediately rectified with an upgraded steak and a free bottle of wine compliments of the manager. What more can I say to this excellent customer service? Will definitely visit again when pubs open up again
