An uneven experience.
Nice clipper and scissor work. Reasonably priced. Nice guys. Great with young kids. 5 stars for the cuts.
Downside is reliability.
1) Came on a Sunday just before opening (at noon) to try to get my kids hair cut. Left at 12:40 because no one ever showed up. 5 other people left during that time. Had lunch nearby, still no one there at 130pm. After reading reviews, I noticed that this was not an uncommon experience.
2) came back following Friday with my young 2 kids. Manager took my cell phone said we are an hour out. Told us he would call when it was our turn. We came back an hour later, waited another 40 minutes in person, and left. Never heard from him again. Seems like our place in line was out of sight out of mind.
3) When open, they won’t take call aheads to avoid this.
Waited almost 3 hrs there over 2 different visits in the same week with 0 haircuts. Seems like it’s aimed at guys who have all day to kill at the shop and not folks with any kind of schedule.
Will not return.
Friendly guys but largely not professional. Mediocre cuts, nothing amazing but not horrible. They rush to get you in/out even if they aren't busy (can be a good thing or bad thing depending on what you want). Prices are by no means a deal but not outrageous. Infection control was the main reason I am docking them.
If you aren't particularly concerned about infection control....then you might not mind it. However, if you are picky about those things I wouldn't recommend going. There are many places that charge less and can keep infection control standards (at least visibly) better.
Worst hair cuts ever. I came to this place with my two kids and one of my kids & me got to the middle chair barbor who was rude, unproftional and haisty to watch a soccer game that was bout to start. He did not finish any of our hair cuts and even made fun of my son’s name. PS: do not let your kids use the bathroom there. They will get sick. ( the closest chair to the door barbor was better).
I came in for a beard trim. Not coming back.
The place is clean, very comfortable.

I expected a bit of info or explanation on what services they have to offer for my beard. No words. Just a question in what I would like.
So I explained the reason for my visit, my first time ever getting a beard trim and fade. The person nodded and we began.
The cut was just simple. I like it.
Except for the razor burns on my cheeks and neck.
Was never offered a warm towel, to soothe the skin after the straight razor shave or before to open the pores.
One side of the fade the beard changes trim size abruptly, no fade.
Overall I expected a professional like in the google pictures. Instead I got a simple cut that I could’ve done myself minus the razor burns.
Muhammad did wonderful job. I was growing hair for my first bun.
Best best Best best and perfect haircut. I took my 10 month baby. They cut his hair so perfect and stylish how we want.
Amazing Customer service . I got a hair cut from them and I got so many girls numbers 10/10 would recommend to get a hair cut there.
I’ve been coming to The Moon Hair Salon And Barbershop for some years now. Great job at an affordable price. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this salon. Excited to continue to see its growth.
