Shaun trimmed my toddlers hair today, her first ever professional hair cut, she was over the moon! Shaun was super friendly and accommodating, the barber shop itself is super bright, spacious and clean. It was overall and very positive experience and we both walked home with smiles on our faces, we will be coming back again and I would highly recommend the mod barbers!
Easily the best and friendliest barber in town. Shaun is an absolutely lovely guy who deserves the support of the community for being one of those rare businesses who treat you like a human and not a commodity.
If you're bored of the endless imported and cloned barber shops in Exeter (you know the rude, loud, one buzzcut for everyone types). Then you'll find the Mod Barbers a welcome change and infinitely better.

I visited Shaun a few weeks ago as I’d been let down numerous times by my long time barber and decided to give another one ago and wow what an amazing choice I made! Shaun the owner was brilliant to talk to, super friendly and knowledgeable on all cuts! My hair was abit of a mess and I didn’t think it could of been sorted without a couple of visits at least but I let Shaun do his thing and it turned out to be the best hair cut I’ve ever had! I’ve now changed my barber and will be returning again and again to mod I can’t thank them enough!

Amazing haircuts, amazing people and amazing prices and you can be always welcome to the mod barbers. The staff are good at listening and making sure that you are ok. You can also have a cup of tea or coffee if you want to. It is a friendly and helpful place to meet new friends and has a talk.
Took my 4yo son in and it was a really enjoyable experience. Shaun could not have been more welcoming and attentive. He spoke to Jaocb like an equal and cut his hair patiently and skilfully. We will be back.
Shaun has been my barber for a while now after trying a few different places and not getting exactly what I asked for. His shop always has a great atmosphere and Shaun can’t do enough for you. He regularly goes out of his way to squeeze me in on a weekend at last minute. I’ve never had a bad haircut, nor an unpleasant experience here. Thanks Shaun, see you soon!
