I was in town from South Carolina and needed a haircut. Found Market Street Barber Shop online and saw they had great reviews. No appointment needed. Walked in on a Saturday morning and they got me in and out. Brent did a great job. Very happy with my experience. Definitely recommend. Cash only though. I had to make a return trip to get him paid because I never carry cash.

I can't say enough about these guys. They take their time, always do a phenomenal job, and don't even get me started on the price. They cost as much as Costcutters for an infinitely better haircut. There's really no reason to go anywhere else. Any barber you get is going to treat you like you're their only priority in the world while you sit in their chair. Afterwards you'll look in the mirror and know what I'm talking about. Just make sure you tip accordingly????.
From the moment I walked in, I knew I had finally found my perfect barber shop! I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by Carol, who did a SUPERB job on my thick mane of hair. She was also very friendly and funny, a great conversationalist. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, and the prices can't be beat when compared to the corporate chain shops like Super Cuts or Cost Cutters. The absolute best place to get your hair cut in Corning!
Great place, awesome people. I'm always in and out in a timely fashion. I keep forgetting her name, but second chair on your right when you walk in- she's the nicest hairdresser in all of Corning, and always gives me the best haircuts. Very happy to have discovered this place after a lot of trial and error.
Five barbers waiting to assist, free wifi and TV if you have to wait, nice location and of course they are all friendly. Currently $13 per haircut which still beats hair stylists. A good place to bring a young boy to make him start feeling like a young man.
