Absolutely amazing food. One of the best steaks I have ever had and the chips were equally amazing. The lady serving us was really attentive and had a great Manor. The place is full of history and is a place I will be going back to more often. Thanks for a great time !!!!!

We went as a last minute table of 10. They managed to fit us in plus the dog.
The food was great! They are big portions too. Will be returning. Nice selection of drinks and very friendly staff.
First time dining for my wife and I. Beautiful pub cosy open fires and warm welcome. I had the fish pie and my wife had the root vegetable and cheese pot pie both delicious. Will definitely visit again with the rest of the family.
Service good, food poor
The starters were ok but the steak pie mains were very poor indeed. There was ALOT of fat , more fat than steak and the gravy had no taste.
The chilli wasn’t fatty but was pretty tasteless too
The lady serving us didn’t charge for the pies as she could clearly see the issue and offered free puddings, which we declined.
She was apologetic and very pleasant. Maybe we were unlucky but unfortunately, despite reading good reviews, we didn’t enjoy this experience at all.
Had my birthday celebrations here. Food top quality. Service excellent and atmosphere brilliant. Been here before. Love returning as always welcomed.
We used to be regulars here until Andy and Sandra moved on.. tried it when it changed hands but weren't particularly enamoured... tried again a week ago, and definitely going to be regulars again!! Delicious home made food, beautifully presented and reasonably priced, and lovely service! Now top of our list!! ( after the Fishermans Rest)..
Sunday lunch, small menu but decent selection, I had roast lamb 4 thick slices, with a good variety of vegetables and potatoes also excellent homemade gravy,my wife had steak and ale pie which had a crisp puff pastry lid and loaded with tender pieces of beef also with potatoes and vegetables cooked nicely, at first price looks a bit above average but for the quality and portion size is well worth it. Staff pleasant and helpful, loads of parking spaces.
Very nice pub interior with a pleasant garden out front and ample parking in the back. The staff were friendly, asking as we were sitting down if we would like a drink and menus; food soon followed, the platter managing both quality and quantity, the sandwich being tasty and substantial for lunch. I would highly recommend.
