Love love LOVE this pizza!!!! Hands down best pizza in town! If you want a quick slice or delicious lunch stop here! Everything looks and smells soooo good! Really want to try the garlic knots next time. When you see a group of locals stopping in to eat when they get off work you know it's good!!
Best pizza in town!! Always fresh, always Hot (warm), cheesy, flavorful, and tasty. Most the time we just order pepperoni, but they also have a big variety of toppings, must try. You can get a slice, I suggest you should get a large, it's so good that it's never enough!
What an amazing variety of slices! We had a delicious Saturday lunch. We tried calzones, fried zucchini, and of course a signature Grumpy slice!
Definitely recommend this spot on Whiskey Row for dine in or take out!
Excellent! Awesome crust, and quality ingredients. I rarely eat all the crust, but absolutely ate all of this one.
Employee was a little grumpy though, wink wink.
Authentic AF - Hands down the best pizza in Prescott!!! The guy who owns the place and makes the pizza is Italian so you know it’s the real deal. This guy doesn’t mess around when it comes to pizza - The fresh toppings and the handmade dough are the perfect combination. Last time I had pizza this good was in New York.
Caprise Pizza was soo good! Friendy staff. Right on the square in Prescott. First photo was the pizza had.
Food is horrible. Over priced pizza and fried zucchini is already made and cooked, sits out in the open at room temp and is reheated when you place your order. Total waste of time and money. Whats up with restaurants that want you to automatically leave a tip when you pay with a card, when all they do is take your order.
Great pizza, fast service. I got one large Hawaiian and one large Margarita pizza. I will definitely be coming here again!

Quick Facts About The Grumpy Sicilian

The Grumpy Sicilian is a popular pizza place in Prescott, known for its delicious pizza options and variety of toppings. The comments provided give us an insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, allowing us to assess its overall appeal.
One of the main strengths of The Grumpy Sicilian, as mentioned in multiple comments, is the quality of their pizza. Customers consistently praise the freshness, flavor, and cheesiness of the pizza. It is considered by some to be the best pizza in town, which speaks to its reputation and popularity among locals. The fact that it is always hot and flavorful suggests that the staff prioritize serving pizza at its peak freshness, contributing to a positive dining experience.
The variety of toppings available at The Grumpy Sicilian is also mentioned as a strength. Customers appreciate the wide selection and the opportunity to create their own unique combinations. This variety caters to different tastes and preferences, ensuring that there is something for everyone. The comment about the large Hawaiian and Margherita pizzas shows that customers can enjoy both classic and more adventurous options.
The ambiance and location of the restaurant are also deemed positive aspects. The mention of a group of locals stopping in after work indicates that it is a popular spot for the community. Being located on Whiskey Row adds to its appeal, as it is a central and convenient location for both dine-in and take-out customers. The comment about it being right on the square highlights its accessibility and potential for a pleasant dining experience.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is the authenticity of the pizza. The fact that the owner and pizza maker is Italian is seen as a guarantee of the pizza's quality and authenticity. This resonates with customers who appreciate traditional Italian flavors and techniques. The mention of the handmade dough and fresh toppings reinforces the commitment to authenticity and quality.
However, some weaknesses are also mentioned in the comments. One customer mentions that the employee was "a little grumpy," suggesting that the staff's customer service may not always be up to par. While this comment is somewhat tongue-in-cheek, it still hints at a potential weakness in terms of customer interaction and friendliness.
Another comment mentions that the fried zucchini is pre-cooked and reheated upon ordering. This suggests that some of the menu items may not be made fresh to order, which could affect the overall quality and taste. The comment about the overpriced pizza and the reheated zucchini contributes to the perception that The Grumpy Sicilian may not offer good value for the money. This sentiment is further reinforced by the commenter's complaint about the restaurant automatically prompting for a tip, despite perceived subpar service.
In conclusion, The Grumpy Sicilian has several strengths, including the quality and variety of its pizza, as well as its authenticity and popularity among locals. The positive dining experience, fast service, and convenient location also contribute to its appeal. However, there are potential weaknesses to consider, such as inconsistent customer service and the reheating of certain menu items. These weaknesses may influence the overall dining experience and perceived value for customers. Overall, with its strengths in mind, The Grumpy Sicilian remains a popular choice for pizza lovers in Prescott.
