The most delicious frittata I've ever had (courgette, kale, and Cheddar) - served warm, moist, really tasty. A couple of lovely imaginative salads. And leaf tea served in a proper (and colourful) pot that pours properly (and a tea strainer). Friendly and helpful staff - just a perfect place for lunch!

We were back for the weekend revisiting the area we lived in for many years and we wanted a tasty, healthy lunch so I knew exactly where to go having been once before on our last visit to the area. The choices are all very tasty, vegetarian/vegan meals with a great array of salads and some lovely desserts. We had the vegetable bake and chocolate beetroot cake with custard

Our 'go to' restaurant in Shrewsbury, the 100% vegetarian menu is exactly what we look for. And it's not just loads of salads and nut roasts. They take real recipes like lasagna and risotto and make them fab. The atmosphere is great and the waitresses attentive. Very clean and nice modern loos. You order and pay at the counter which means when done, you can just leave. Remember the restaurant is on the first floor with views of Milk and High St, but there is a substantial set of stairs to negotiate. A perfect place for lunch.

Loved the root veg soup ,( please bring the tiger loaf bread back (GF)) Choc torte and ice cream - yum and good size portions for sharing. I love the rainbow tea pots and the lively atmosphere , spacious size and the local artists paintings and the staff work very hard at being prompt and and are very welcoming and friendly

So much gratitude for the delicious, wonderful vegan / vegetarian food. It's a wonderful and friendly family business with a great ambience.

Jackfruit Bourguignon, Dauphonoise Potatoes, Red cabbage, mixed bean salad and coleslaw. I couldn't make my mind up between Chocolate and Orange Torte or Chocolate and Beetroot cake....so I was over the moon when I was told I could have a piece of each. Nom nom!

As a regular customer I can highly recommend The Greenhouse as comprehensive for anyone's needs. Spotlessly clean, colourful healthy wholesome food, breakfasts, lunches, choice of hot and cold drinks, freshly squeezed juices, salads, smoothies, soup, puddings, ice cream. Amazing view over the High Street in Shrewsbury as well as local artwork/design and original Italian tiled flooring. Plenty of seating area. Takeaway available too. Friendly and helpful staff. Good prices.
