We could see that this pub had been recently refurbished and was under new management so we went in for a drink. It was spacious inside with a well set out bar and plenty of chairs and tables plus a garden area which I'm sure will look much better in the future when it matures.
There were wall TVs for sports, a pool table and darts area. Everything looked new and clean.
They had no beers on tap which was a shame, but I tried a pale ale and that was okay. Sadly, whilst we were there, there was a drunk walking around the bar for a good 20 minutes shouting and making a nuisance of himself. None of the staff attempted to quiet him down or remove him, and if this continues to happen I'm sure the pub will not be very successful. We would not go back there.
Food was well cooked and presented, lively pub atmosphere, good drink selection although in terms of a restaurant it's on par with a wetherspoon's
Came down for some food and drinks with my wife a two little ones, from the minute we walked through the door it was amazing hospitality.
Lots of food options for both adults and my children were very pleased with their food.
Ten out of ten would go again!
We visited the Golden Farmer recently and had an excellent reception. We were very well attended, all the drinks were great and the food was incredible! Congratulations to all!! I highly recommend it and we'll be back soon

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Golden Farmer Pub and I have to say, I was blown away by the experience. From the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the delicious food and drinks
Has a pool table but we went and was ready for a game of pool and got in there there's a cloth over it it was moved to the wall . I was like no way but then he said if you would of come an hour earlier you would of been playing pool but when ladies darts are on there's no pool as there is Ladies darts and no pool until darts are finished
Other than that dog friendly got a tree as a kids garden area nice pub ????
It's got a great new manager since I was there last year. And has had a decor change, looks great. Very welcoming.
