Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Food A1++,,,,,The most spotless takeawy I've ever found not only relaxing with an Ambient atmosphere ,with a touch of West End class too, it's air-conditioning is way ahead of most sit in restaurants , I didn't ,really !,wanna get up off the Chesterfield settee , it's a credit from the whole team to experience , I'd give this 10 stars if I could .First class.....
Just moved from London and can honestly say that The Forbidden City is one of the best I have ever had, spent £19.40 and had enough food for two days, if you are looking for real quality and hospitality than I couldn't recommend them enough.. now waiting for 5pm so I can have a second time around. Thanks guys.
Usually our go to Chinese, but had gone downhill since we last had one! £2.10 for chips, 80% of them being small little sharp ones. Chow mein usually has a couple of big chunks of chicken, this time it was all small, stringy and around 4 pieces. It was also meant to be cooked in black bean sauce, but it definitely wasn't. Seemed like all they've done it tossed a tiny bit of black bean into it - shame as they do the best black bean sauce in all of Stoke. Gutted about this as I always recommend it as the best Chinese to anyone.
The staff are very friendly and the food is always spot on. Excellent restaurant.
We ordered here today for the first time had the set menu with sweet and sour and blackbean beef for 2 people, more than enough food for3 of us we couldnt finish it all. It was so tasty and one of the nicest chinese ive ever had the sauces were really nice and the food was hot . Beef nice and tender not chewy and the rice has mixed stuff in like peas, and prawns really good value for money lady on the phone was really nice too . Only minor issue is took an hour to arrive but well worth the wait as the food was delicious
Food is always delicious, cheap and huge portions. Friendly and nice with quick service. Highly recommend.
The staff always seem friendly enough anytime I’m there, the food is genuinely pretty good, and portion sizes are decent too. The only negative thing I’ll say is I went there a few years ago and ordered spring rolls, bbq ribs, and beef curry. The rolls let out a awful smell when I bit into one and didn’t taste good (not off but just not good), the bbq ribs were not good, and I threw the beef curry away. I thought I’d never go there again, but since then it’s seemed pretty good.
Having my other half went in today complaining of the standard of food. After 3 months since the last review one popped up today after a promise of a bad review to be left? Suspicious much? Onto the complaint. I've always used forbidden city for years and no complaints. After a 12 hour shift I thought it would be a treat for a late night takeaway. Obviously ours was the last one meal to go out. And you can tell. The special chow mein was 92% noodles and 8%meat. 2 prawns and even less chicken and 1 piece of beef. The spare ribs were alot to be desired. Deep fried with a sprinkling of chillies on the top. That's it. We spent over £18 and I wouldn't have paid £5. We tried to ring to complain but by that time (of getting the delivery and opening it) the place was closed. After a long 12hr shift I was starving and ate my sweet and sour and egg fried rice or I would have left it to take back tomorrow. My partner rang and took his noodles back and the remainder of his meal to be met with 'well you've eaten all the meat out. Where are the original boxes? Here's £8'. Disgusted and annoyed after being a loyal customer for a few years this is how we've been treated. Avoid at all costs.
