Lovely welcome. Airy freshly decorated pub. Next to the Capel Hen of historical interest. Large sized portions. They may sell more puddings if they put fewer chips on plates! Everything as described and cooked to perfection. Friendly helpful young waiting staff. Traditional bar. Clean loos. Yummy food. We headed to Llansteffan beach which is a 5min drive afterwards.
Great pub. Had drink in the bar after a cycling event then had dinner in the restaurant. Very welcoming. Lovely staff. Food was delicious and generous.(Proper homemade chips too)
Double birthday family meal tonight ???????? Absolutely delicious well cooked food in comfortable surroundings. Fought my son on a challenge to eat the mixed grill ???? which beat us both but was really tasty.
They catered for my 9yr old grandson too with a good size child’s meal.
Service was very attentive and friendly without being imposing, and the final bill was excellent value for money. Can’t praise this family run business highly enough. Hope they are around for a long time to come so we can recommend to friends.
We will definitely be back for other events. 100% worth booking in for!
????
A lovely, welcoming pub! Very clean and cosy rooms, my wife and I felt very comfortable just passing through for a drink. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. It was New Years Eve, and we were offered some of their lovely buffet that was for later celebrations. Highly recommended!
The best carvery I have ever eaten. Really nice fresh veg and a selection of 4 meats and home made stuffing like no where else. And the wife had cheesecake for afters that was clearly home made. Excellent service and very reasonable price. REALLY EXCELLENT
Great atmosphere and great homily feel to the pub, with local support giving a nice warm welcome.
Food is outstanding ????
Lovely friendly local pub visited on Friday (6.8.21) while away for the weekend had the recommended fish & chips huge portion was so good. Also visited again for the Lions game (7.8.21) great evening Recommend you order early or pre-book
Excellent Sunday carvery, trying not to overeat on a sugar-limited diet, but did indulge in a fabulous malteser cheesecake slice.
