Great old fashioned pub. Always a great atmosphere. Friendly staff and the security guy is a credit to the pub. Always a hello etc.
Nice large pub..busy on an afternoon but still enjoyable. Large seating area outside to enjoy the view of the qQueen's Gardens .
Always good in the Empress. Great music, enjoy a dance with the locals. Close to taxi rank. Love the place.

Friday afternoon drinks, really quiet but started to pick up around 4.30pm. Always a good vibe a really popular stop off pub when on a pub crawl.
