Dovecot? Full marks & 5 stars for excellent service & excellent food. We'd never been previously and were looking for somewhere reasonably priced for Sunday lunch. Toby Carvery were a little expensive so we tried The Dovecot. The staff are all very well presented, there's a very good selection of drinks and they're all decently priced. Our lunch was hot & fresh (only little gripe is that the veg was a tad undercooked) but the meat & sauces were excellent. We'll definitely be coming back for more.
Lennon made us all feel welcome. His espresso martinis were delicious, he is such a joy, always smiling and willing to go through the menu (numerous times lol) explaining the cocktails. Food was delicious. Denise the waitress was very helpful and polite too. Looking forward to revisiting next week ????
Without a doubt, the best venue in Middlesbrough hands down! Visited on Saturday afternoon, initially for a quick breather & a cheeky afternoon drink pre match! After receiving such a warm welcome & vibrant atmosphere, we found ourselves indulging in a fantastic range of drinks & equally tempting dishes to evoke our appetites, accompanied by a live band inside (Not too loud) playing all my favourite 90's classics, then ventured into the spacious beer garden which offered (Another) live band, playing Reggae classics, whilst dancing in the dusky afternoon sun, fair to say if the kids weren't in tow, WE WOULDN'T HAVE LEFT til the early hours! As far as cleanliness, service & price... A picture paints a thousand words so they say.. Take a peek.. ( The Dovecot ) has set the bar HIGH ????????
Had lunch here on a family visit to see step daughter at Teeside University. Great service with a smile. Food was excellent and very good value for money. I had the large meat feast parmesan and to say it was huge would be an understatement. If you don't have a big appetite only get the small. Don't think I'll eat for a week ????????
Had the best time today at Dovecot bar. Food was delicious. Cocktails very nice. Service was outstanding. Big shout out to Laura who looked after us. She was brilliant. Would definitely recommend. Me and my daughters had an amazing day x
Went here today for Sunday lush wow staff were so pleasant food was amazing defiantly recommended
We went here last month. We had a lovely meal outside on the terrace with nice background music. The next day we drank a delicious Chardonnay inside and talked to the friendly owner. A cozy bar/restaurant with great food and very friendly staff. Recommended!
Great atmosphere, well decorated venue, lovely staff and lots of great events/entertainment like live music and Latin dance classes. The food is insanely good value and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Also dog friendly!
