Took my mum here today for brunch and really enjoyed it! Food is great, well priced for the quality of food and portion size. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Good coffee (much better than the highsteet chains) and there's even a bar.
It's my favourite place to eat in Wigan.
Also, easy parking right outside (free after 17:30).
Small but sublime vegetarian & vegan restaurant. If you have any food intolerances let the owner chef know before hand, and you will be beautifully catered for.
I have visited several times now, and the food never disappoints. It's a refreshing change to have decent tasty and varied vegan food.
The restaurant is not without its quirks, it is very small; which I feel does add to the atmosphere, I'd recommend booking ahead if you can, and, oh, the loo is outside in the back yard!
Overall a lovely little restaurant.
Been to the Coven twice now and although I'm not a vegan I really enjoy the food. The chickpea omelette is fantastic. They are happy to cater for gluten free diets and also serve alcohol. Would definitely return and would highly recommend.
Fabulous little cafe. Went on a Friday evening, did book but there were a couple of tables free during the evening.
Lovely lady called sue the owner and chef. Sue will talk you through the menu vegetarian or vegan and gluten free. So much to choose from. Variety of teas too. No alcohol is sold on the premises, you can take your own. Can park outside on the street, spaces are limited. Lovely vibe to the place. Not open every evening, also do take away. Had the Chinese fritters so filling and delicious, you will not leave feeling hungry at all. I myself am a meat eater and I will be definitely returning.
I'm no vegetarian or vegan, Went today Sunday 10th 2019 fantastic food fairly priced it's a must try place I will definitely go again, great freindly staff
Gorgeous little place and will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. I'm not vegan/vegetarian but really enjoyed and would recommend.
Didn't try the food but the oat milk late I had was great. Love the range of milks available, I couldn't choose but the member of staff we were served by helped me out and definitely made the right choice for me. Can't wait to go back and try the food.
Not a vegan or vegetarian, but love the food here. Small dishes available, but I love the hearty potato hash, delicious and packed with flavour - cheese, spinach, mushrooms and onions.
Decor very cool since the move to the Old Courts and the drink selection is as good as most bars. Service is good too and we were welcomed with a toddler.
Whilst there was able to nip in to neighbouring Static Records too. Great lunch overall.
