Absolutely perfect to me curry wasnt to thick fish wasn't watery batter wasn't too thick n was proper crispy spot on

I use only this chip shop it's took me a long time to find a good one the food is of high standard and the staff are friendly so give it a try

Not very impressed been twice first time paid near £10 for cod and chips wasn't cod and very very dry second time I ordered cheese burger and chips waited ages even though I was the first of two customers and my burger is now being used as a sole for my boot not wasting any more money there when I'm hungry.

Was OK, wouldn't go back, batter on the fish was extremely thick and undercooked, chips were nice though

Great fish and chip takeaway friendly staff

This chip shop has recently been taken over and I have to comment on how friendly the chippy staff are. They give you a nice smile as soon as you enter and they work efficiently together. The food is delicious. I always order the haddock and chips. The batter melts in your mouth and is very tasty and the haddock has huge white flakes. The chips are always well cooked and portion sizes are satisfactory. It's too tempting that I live so near!

I used to go here years ago but the prices went up and portion sizes down. The staff were always young girls and whilst friendly enough they never stopped chatting to each other even when serving customers which personally I don't think is on. When I heard it had been taken over I thought I would it another try but honestly nothing has changed, the girls are still young and chatty and the food is still mediocre to ok. The chips were soggy/undercooked and the servings of sauces were half the size of normal chipies but cost the same. The fish was had square corners but tasted ok. Overall nothing to rave about and with plenty of other choices around I don't think I'll be back soon.

Owner is lovely. Use the chippy once a month as the fish is amazing. Always tastes so fresh and really tasty. Lots of choice and generous kids meals
