Been in a few times now, staff are lovely,tried food which was great and reasonably priced, drinks also very reasonable and a good selection. The butchers is very clean and is a very nice pub,my only complaint is that it was quite cold in bar area today, and ladies loo was freezing.. hence 4 star review
Fabulous pub great beer and always come here for lunch. Recommend the
Corned beef pie and the beef bun with proper chips. Very friendly staff. Five stars all round.

Still the Best real ale pub in town. Regularly changing selection of hand pulls as well as normal lagers etc. Proper home cooked food that is tasty, filling and value for money.
