Real eye opener when you enter pub.Was very pleasantly surprised super friendly staff and great value

Lovely Pub. Nice Staff.

This was always a must visit when visiting Ayr and great prices. The food when we have been able to have it was great, the steak pie is phenomenal. However, even after calling a few days before to confirm, we have arrived to find the kitchen had already closed for the day but at unpredictable times. If the kitchen is open we definitely recommend it, but don't set the plan in stone as you may find yourself looking for somewhere else at short notice.

It's a bar now, not a pub. One bitter. One cider. If you want an American-esque place for food and drink this would be good. It's not what I wanted at all. Staff was nice but it sure smelled smokey after a rehab. If I lived here I can't imagine that I would return.

Excellent meal brilliant staff great night and friendly local customers oh the music too ????????
