Fresh and tasty food daily cooked. The best ever Sunday roast ????. Fireplace wirh wood make a cosy atmosphere and you feel like home. Very friendly owners make you feel welcome ???? and always to comeback here. Thank you for lunch
Lovely Sunday lunch with plenty of everything beautifully cooked. Just a tad expensive for regular meals other than a special occasion. Friendly staff.
What a great place! So accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Accepted our little doggo, which is always a plus. Staff we're really attentive and the food was amazing. One of the best roasts we've had locally. Would highly reccomend! See you soon.
Lovely place, staff so attentive, helpful and very polite, nothing is too much trouble.
Food excellent and good value.
Second visit to The Bell Inn at Little Addington for another Tuesday Dad & Son beer night.
Quiet here on a Tuesday.night save for a local committee meeting for an event to be held between the Addington villages. Felt a bit odd (possible Rotary Club meal last time we came) but we sat over the other side of the big lounge area so it didn't disturb us, chatting as we were. Good community business for the pub, though.
There is always a very good welcome here. Two draft beers on, this time. Mine was well kept and presented. Apart from that there was fairly limited beer choice but also some bottles in the chiller. We didn't come for a big session as one of us was driving so it wasn't an issue.
There's a good standard pub menu for lunch some days and evening meals and they also do both afternoon tea and high tea. Roasts on Sunday. senior's lunches too, it appears. Check the website...always best before you book, anyway.
This pub is worth another visit but very much a local pub trying to expand its food business. It's a nice building but the pub is tucked away in this small village and you have to know it's there. Worth trying it out.
Can't comment on the meals though, yet but if we eat, another time, I'll update this initial review.
Went to The Bell today for my husband birthday. The service was outstanding and the food portions were large. The waiter was professional and made the day perfect.
I will most definitely go again.

Quick Facts About The Bell Inn

The Bell Inn has several strengths that make it a popular choice for its customers. Firstly, many comments mention the fresh and tasty food that is cooked daily. This implies that the meals are of high quality and are made using fresh ingredients, which is likely to be a major draw for customers looking for a satisfying meal. The comment specifically praising the Sunday roast suggests that this particular dish is a standout item on the menu and is well-loved by patrons. This could be a unique selling point for The Bell Inn and attract regular customers who enjoy a traditional Sunday meal.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is the welcoming and friendly atmosphere created by the owners and staff. Customers feel at home when visiting The Bell Inn and are made to feel welcome and appreciated. This is an important factor in creating a positive dining experience and can contribute to customer loyalty and repeat visits. The comment thanking the owners for lunch suggests that the hospitality provided by the staff is well-received and appreciated by guests, further emphasizing the strength of The Bell Inn in this area.
The accommodation of pets is mentioned in one comment, which can be seen as a strength for pet owners. The Bell Inn's willingness to accept dogs allows customers to bring their furry friends along and enjoy a meal without having to worry about leaving their pets at home. This could help attract a wider customer base and make the establishment more appealing to pet owners.
The value for money aspect of The Bell Inn is also mentioned in a positive light. One comment states that the food is excellent and good value, suggesting that customers feel they are getting their money's worth when dining at this establishment. This is important for customers who want to have a satisfying meal without feeling like they have overspent. The combination of good food quality and reasonable prices can contribute to customer satisfaction and positive reviews.
However, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments that should be considered. One comment suggests that the regular meals at The Bell Inn are a bit expensive, which could deter some customers from dining there regularly. This implies that The Bell Inn may be more suited for special occasions rather than everyday dining. While this may not significantly impact the establishment's business, it is still a weakness to be aware of.
The limited beer choice is also mentioned as a weakness by one patron. Although the comment acknowledges that this was not an issue for them on that particular visit, it raises the concern that customers looking for a wide variety of beer choices may be disappointed. This could potentially limit the appeal of The Bell Inn to beer enthusiasts who enjoy exploring different options.
Lastly, the comment about The Bell Inn being tucked away in a small village and not being widely known suggests that the establishment may struggle with visibility and attracting new customers. Given that customers need to know about the pub's existence in order to seek it out, it may be beneficial for The Bell Inn to focus on marketing and increasing its online presence to reach a wider audience.
In conclusion, The Bell Inn has several strengths that contribute to its popularity, including fresh and tasty food, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and good value for money. However, it also has weaknesses such as slightly higher prices for regular meals, limited beer choices, and a potential lack of visibility. By addressing these weaknesses and further enhancing its strengths, The Bell Inn can continue to attract and satisfy customers.
