Have been here a couple of times before and they did a good cut for my boy however never really say much so not very good at engaging. My experience this last time was such that I won't be returning. My boy struggles with getting his hair cut and was crying, instead of greeting us and chatting to my son in a friendly way I was just told that they would not cut his hair when he was crying. I took him out to calm him down and when I returned I was still not greeted with a smile or friendly person. Instead, someone else walked in and they proceeded to cut his hair ignoring us, at which point I left. Awful customer service and not at all understanding of young children. Will not be using them again.
Excellent quality of cut. The first time I visited I received poor customer service but the owner reached out and asked for me to contact him directly. I revisited soon after and received a friendly service and an exceptional skin fade. I would recommend trying this place.
Went for a first real haircut since lockdown was introduced. A lovely place for a haircut with great friendly staff. We'll worth a visit.
As I walked in I got really good service and the professionals weren’t rushed and took time to do the haircut of my choice to perfection. Always feel welcomed and greeted by the staff which is amazing as this isn’t the case for many places. I’ve got my hair cut by most of the staff there and they all did an awesome job, I must say the hair cut I got from Sam today was out of this world. Faded to perfection and insane precision from Sam and I must give him props for being able to cut all different types of hair as mine is course Afro hair and still cut to perfection ????????

My first haircut since after the first lockdown, and the first time at The Barbers at Number One having only moved to the area last year. No appointment but didn't wait for long. A nice friendly barber and a very good haircut reasonably priced. No hesitation in recommending.
My children did not even get that far to get a hair cut here, as they're manners were shocking. It's really not hard to look up and say hello to your customers. When they refused to even acknowledge us standing there. I told them I will take my kids somewhere where the staff have better customer service. Really disappointed and a waste of time considering we were sat there for 30 mins waiting!!
