Great comfy chic atmosphere to the place.
There a great deal of collection on coffee and warm drinks to have. The place is very well kept and clean.
There also dog biscuits in case you want some for your pet on the walk that cost around 40p per bar
The service was very polite and the mulled wine was the best i have ever hadd
Lovely little cafe serves coffee, teas and some baked goods. I bought a coffee here and sat in the park adjacent to the bell tower. People are still placing flowers on the steps in memory of the Queen.
Lovely, friendly staff and nice selection of savoury pies and cakes. We had a delicious vegan pastie and a cup of tea but if you want coffee they have a proper barista machine. Bench seats and bar stools inside round the windows looking into the park and tables and chairs outside. Very reasonable prices.
It’s one of my favorite places in the whole country. Specially if you go during a working day when it’s not very busy, the atmosphere and the coffee make it a bucolic place. During spring sitting outside is priceless and during winter staying cozy inside and looking through the glass. Good staff and food. For toilets you have to use the park ones.

Such a friendly place! I am always welcomed with a smile, the owners are making the atmosphere warm and inviting. There’s a wide selection of sweet and savoury snacks, coffee is delicious and there’s an impressive choice of alternative milk. No wonder there’s a long queue in front of The Aviary at the weekends, it’s a place that doesn’t have to depend on its perfect location but definitely benefits from it. Go try it yourself! Highly recommended!
A cute little cafe within Jephson Garden. It has seats inside the shop as well as benches outside the cafe. I have only tried coffee here and it tastes good.
This was my favourite cafe for the last 10 years - delicious cakes and set in the glorious Jephson Gardens. It would always cheer me to go. Sadly, it doesn’t feel the same since Jane, Michael and Jess left. Customer service is much worse. On Sunday (15/1/23) I asked if my sandwich could be warmed up and got a simple ‘no!’ Never would have happened before.
