Please Know .. A Full English Breakfast Comes With Toast !!

The Full English Breakfast was really nice, however the staff did not serve it with toast as it said on the menu. How can you not know your own menu?

On a better note, this is a great café with polite friendly staff ..

A second chance will be given on our next visit ..

Visited many times, usually eat the full english, great quality sauages and bacon, clean and crisp on a grease free plate, best english breakfast in kirkby in my opinion. Polite friendly staff and extremely clean cosy cafe

Extremely poor experience. The Asian service staff was especially rude when I complained that my cappuccino was undrinkable - but offered to pay anyways. She told me I had no idea and should go to Mc Donald’s instead. She raised her voice saying further derogatory things and all guests were alarmed. She kept saying she had only 2 arms while I tried to explain to her that that was no excuse for bad coffee. She also charged me for the 2 awful cappuccinos.

This is a simple cafe, in that it offers a small menu and has one person working to around 5 tables/18 people. It's clean, has good coffee, is dog friendly and the lady who runs it is welcoming.

To make simple work properly, the basics need to be excellent, not OK. It would benefit from having either an extra member of staff or not serving hot food.

Very Bad experience !!! . The waitress was extremely aggressive & rude. First she did not clear the tables for quite some time after seating us saying she is understaffed and has only two hands. Then she served us horrible coffee. We wanted to pay and leave but she got upset for not having the coffee, & came back very aggressively to say that we go to Mc Donald’s to have one. How there are just two people and customers just keep arriving. We kept saying that we want to pay and leave but she would not give up, and kept shouting. Very bad food and staff behaviour. In a nutshell not worth wasting one’s time there.

Ate here with a friend yesterday. Ordered coffee but couldn't drink it as it was tasteless. Sent it back and had a pot of tea instead, this was the same! Like hot water with milk. We both ordered toasted sandwiches but they where dry, no salad or coleslaw like the menu said. Won't be calling here again.
