We were visiting Blackpool from London over Christmas vacations and a friend highly recommended this restaurant and all I can say is what a hidden gem. The food and service was amazing even on Christmas Eve. The portions are a good size and we ordered the meat platter and some cold starters and must say was superb. Highly recommend this place and worth a visit and shall be coming here again if visiting Preston. A worthwhile drive from Blackpool.
Tried this place in December 2022. I don’t smoke Shisha so can’t comment on that. But the karak chai and baklava was nice. Comfortable seating. The service was a bit slow and wayward hence the 3 star.
The staff were very pleasant and attentive, particularly the young lady at the front counter. The food was out of this world, Loved it! The mango Mojito was smooth and refreshing. I’m not really a shisha person nor do I enjoy the atmosphere very much hence I rarely go to a shisha place, but opted for this one as it looked classy and not a typical shisha place with loud music in the background with childish people.
It was indeed a sensible, classy place with sensible people. The only downside is that they wouldn’t allow me to pay by card!!

Taboosh offers wonderful Syrian cuisine within Preston. The mix grill or platters are a must have of you want the Syrian food experience. The variety in the platters are excellent and come with a cold starter. It is definitely enough food for the amount of people they recommend. My picture is for a platter for 2 which could comfortabley feed 3 people. The meat is succulent and flavourful and they provide delicious sauces too. Staff are nice and food is halal. They also have a shisha lounge and dessert. Overall highly recommend!
Amazing food!!!! Such a delicious Fatoosh salad and the chicken taouq was so soft and succulent. If only they were open for lunch too.
Service was nice, never had trouble with that very welcoming.
I’m not sure if management has changed or the chief, but food was cold yesterday and portions were poor and tiny.The Kebbeh was the worst I tried in years!! Very thin, overcooked and tasteless
