Stopped by here while camping at Calhoun Falls, this was an unexpected surprise for sure, I’m from SW Florida and used to getting baked goods, pies and cakes from our Mennonite/Amish community there and this bakery was great! They have so much to offer here, breads, breakfast rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, cooking books, candy and more! I was thrilled to get a chocolate peanut butter pie, the strawberry pie was so good we stopped by here again on our way home and bought another one! Definitely check this out if you’re in the area. They are only open Thursday,Friday and Saturday.

SWARTZENTRUBER'S IS THE BEST BAKERY in ABBEVILLE or GREENWOOD or ANYWHERE ! They have just about anything that you could possibly want. They have jellies , breads of most types , candies and many different items and much more. MANY , MANY DIFFERENT SELECTIONS OF CAKES , WHOPPIE PIES , BROWNIES and MANY MORE ! THEY ARE THE BEST ! THANKS for ALL THE HARD WORK AND THANKS AGAIN !

Absolutely wonderful! Everything from the crab dip to the pound cake is delicious! The owner is so sweet and made us feel welcome.

Worth the (out of the way) drive to this charming little one-room bakery. We've just found this little hidden gem in Abbeville, SC. Our first purchase was the caramel apple monkey bread (I think), it was just suberb. We bought 2 cherry phyllo turnovers that literally are the best that we've ever had. On our second and latest trip, we bought the cherry phyllo turnovers AGAIN and also tried blackbery. Lastly, we bought the coconut cake which was JUST "so-so". although nice and tender, there was very little flavor (it didn't tase cononut-y at all!). We don't recommend that selection. We'll back again this next weekend.

Wow Yummylicious! I got fresh bread, pimento cheese and chocolate chip M and M cookies! Love the sweet lady that owns it and her friends that were there when I visited!????????????

If you are going through Abbeville please stop off at this bakery. You will find something to take home. The apple cinnamon bread is awsome.

We were camping in the area and stopped by this bakery - what a fantastic experience! Hot cakes, pies, breads and more. We definitely loaded up!! The cherry turnovers are delicious! Hope to be back!

My sons and I drove over an hour and a half to come out here only to find it closed. I did not see this posted on their Facebook page either. Reopening Thursday, February 2. Please do not take the star rating as a review. The proprietor has already reached out to me via Facebook Messenger with apologies. That tells me much about what I am likely to experience when I return upon their reopening.
