I have been to over 10 braiding shops in Minnesota and I have to say this is the best one by far. Martha and her sister Elizabeth is the best at what they do. I'm sharing my experience because it was the best I ever had. Martha and her sister engaged in conversation with me the whole time I was there. If you ever been to a braiding shop you know the braider is either talking to the other braiders or not talking at all, Martha even went and got food for us and refuse to take my money for the food. Now let's get to the braids, I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY MICRO BRAIDS they are braided exactly the way I wanted them and I got the length I wanted and did I mention I LOVE my micro braids

I ordered men clothes at the shop and it arrived at my home in 3 days. Martha was very professional. She has quality products at a reasonable price. I highly recommended it!!!

I never do reviews but this shop deserves it. Best shop I've ever been to. Not only were they on time, the shop was clean, quiet environment, beverages were offered, no kids running around. I got box braids and was finished in under 6 hours. Liz and Martha worked on my head together with rarely any breaks. My braids came out so neat and I'm SUPER picky about my hair. The way they braid is amazing, my head didn't even hurt after. They dont braid heavy handed. If you are looking for a new shop plz go here I promise you wont be disappointed.

We made an appointment to have our daughter’s hair braided before she was leaving for a special weekend away. We arranged our day around the appointment (we have 6 children, so this was no small task). I washed, conditioned, moisturized and combed out my daughter’s hair in preparation for her appointment. When my husband arrived with my daughter, they refused to braid her hair saying her hair was not “clean enough.” Ridiculous. We have never ever before received criticism for the condition of our daughter’s hair as we are careful to care for it well. With such short notice, we were not able to find her an appointment elsewhere and her hair will be left undone on her special weekend. Disappointed to say the least. We will never return to this shop again and will not recommend it to friends.

I would actually give 4.5 stars. The woman that worked on my daughter's hair was great and very professional. She actually got my daughter in even though we were 45 minutes late for our appointment. She was extremely patient with my young daughter and it was her first time getting her hair braided at a salon. She quoted the style I wanted with added hair. I said I did not want hair added and the quote was decreased by $10. After more discussion with the stylist, I decided to add hair. The stylist wasn't pushy about it, I just thought it made the best sense since it would maintain the hair style longer. In the end, she charged me the quote without the hair. I appreciated her level of integrity but I still paid her the amount that included the hair. I would definitely go back.

The following is an honest review - no one asked me to write it. This hair braiding salon is one of the best salons I've ever been to. They did not cut corners when braiding my hair. They braided small, even braids throughout. They took their time and were careful with my hair and scalp health. Martha and her crew did not pull my hair- they were extremely careful with this and explained why - because of the damage it does to one's hair follicles. I don't think I've ever encountered a hair stylist who understood hair braiding in such detail. Martha is most-likely a genius when it comes to hair care. It shows in her work, and that of those she trains. I love my hair style. They did an excellent job in a short amount of time. In fact, my mom used to braid my hair with extensions when I was younger, giving me a full-looking braids done with love and care. This style is comparable to the excellent work my mother did. I’ve been coming here for 3.5 years now and I trust Martha wholeheartedly. She is very professional and she has helpful tips on how to take care of your hair in any state that it’s in. She’s very talented and she specializes in so many different things. The whole experience is great, from booking to braiding. Ever since I’ve come here, my hair has grown and I have learned so much! The drive is well worth it!
