Great place for braids. I just moved to Huntsville so I do not know anyone & needed my hair done so I found Sunshine Braiding & I am very satisfied with my hair. Sit time was between 4-5 hours vs sitting for 8-9 hours. I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Sunshine Hairbraiders are very professional, friendly, and punctual! I scheduled an appointment at 7am and my hairbraider was not only at the shop ahead of time, but had already prepared the hair to allow for speedy service.

Two experienced braiders worked on my head at the same time which made things go very quickly! Very good prices,;convenient location. ????

I tired my best not to write another review but I’ve only had my hair up one week and four braids have came out & I paid 200$ for small box braids when I wanted knotless ! I was there 8 hours when it supposed to been 4 hours due to the fact it’s two people in my head ! I missed worked bc they honestly took there time like I’m a family member ! Saying she was going to hurry but eating fruit and talking with her “sisters” . She then told me she seen my review and that people die everyday I should have just talked to her but I had already taken it down due to the fact I was giving her a second chance by coming back After my hair was done I was in tears bc I was so upset I just cashed app her the money and left and her sister ran outside saying I didn’t pay like it really couldn’t get no worse till she blamed it on me for not having common sense to bring cash but you asked over the phone for a cash app deposit she’s most definitely very rude ! They will give you no information over the phone like if you’re late you’ll have to pay your deposit again but if she’s working on someone head when you schedule an appointment it’s no discount you just have to wait which I did wait an full hour just to be told my hair was too short and had to return that following Monday! Over the phone she didn’t say anything about cash only but there is a really small sign that’s falling behind the tv that say cash only LORD KNOWS I WANT MY MONEY BACK BUT JUST DO ME A FAVOR AND GO ELSE WHERE THIS WAS THE WORSE IVE EVER BEEN TO IN LIFE

Fallon, is a Godsend when it comes to braiding hair! I always leave happy! The atmosphere is very nice and everyone is super friendly! They’re willing to work with you setting up appointments to make sure that you get the best possible hair experience. I’m never disappointed when I leave here! If you want excellent service and a friendly atmosphere then this is the place for you. We come as a family, both girls and boys and they take care of everything! Go ahead and book an appointment and thank me later! ????????????

It took 4 days to make an appointment because no one was responding to my text or answering when I called. I finally got an appointment at 3:30 on the fourth day. I was running a few minutes behind and text to let her know since I was stuck in traffic, no response. I get to the shop at 3:40 and no one was there at all. I called her and no answer. 20 minutes I sat in front of the shop trying to get in touch with her and it just went straight to voicemail. I left and found another Braider that was willing to do my hair that same day. Then the price. I went to this shop once before (6 weeks prior) and it was $180. This appointment, same style, was going to be $200. She told me it’s because they changed the shop minimum which is fine, but my mom and sister scheduled an appointment AFTER the no show situation and it was $180 for them. How does that work when we were all getting the same service? At this point you’re just doing bad business, which is sad because I really liked my braids but I won’t be returning.

They do a fine job but every time I go, the price they quote is higher and higher for the same service...

I absolutely love my hair! This was my first time getting my hair braided in a shop and the experience was great. The young lady that did my hair made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She only stopped for a a quick lunch break and she got right back to it. The shop was clean and all of the staff was super friendly. I will definitely be back!
