Ordered food, few people in there but not rammed. Noticed part of my order was prepared and wrapped and then left by the till whilst the young girls had a chat about finishing work. After about 5 minutes the girl realised it was just sat there and then put it on top of the fish heating cabinet. The food was sat on top of the heater for about 10 minutes and the girl asked the cook how long the fish cakes would be (part of my order), his reply was to go sprinting to the freezer and grab the forgotten fish cakes. Waited a few more minutes and it was ready. Got home which is a 2 minute drive away, opened the box of fish and chips, they were freezing cold, the batter was all soggy and had welded to the chips from being sat there so long. Chips were burnt. Peas, gravy and curry sauce were all cold. Had to put everything in the microwave and it kind of ruined the meal really.
I get that mistakes happen, but why on earth would they prepare most of the meal if part of the meal wasn't even in the frier? It takes about 2 minutes to prepare the meal so why not serve it all freshly cooked?
Now I know people will say 'why didn't you take it back, or why didn't you call them', I didn't do either because of the inconvenience of having to go back (wasting my own petrol) and waiting in the queue again, just not worth the hassle.
Best fish and chips around for miles. Cooked to perfection, crispy batter with pure white cod, I get them for my mum every time i visit once a month.

Ok Sunny's when staffed do a fantastic van delivery but due to staff shortages they have stopped it at the moment. So went direct to shop why 4 stars instead of five for 2 reasons no parking unless you pay and they got my order wrong and added vinegar thankfully it was small amount but didn't ask for it. Other than that 5 stars. Great food normally well worth. Just make sure they get your order right :)
