Excellent barbers.
Men and women patronize this establishment.
Landed in Florida in June 2021 and I was fortunate to find the Barber Shop by chance. I reside in The Villages, a half an hour away and it is worh my while to drive a further distance for a very good haircut than to get a hair cut from a closer hair cutting business for less money.
You get what you pay for.
Aside from the high level and quality of hair grooming, this establishment is a genuine business steep in family tradition of Barbering.
The down home atmosphere one introduces oneself to quickly becomes a comfortable friendly retreat from the impersonal and low quality of hair cutters that are out there.
The Barbers at Steed's are excellent.
Always great service! I drive from Lake County(about 35 min or more) to go to this barbershop. That's how good it is. Highly recommend. (Cash only) It's noteworthy that this is a family owned and operated barbershop.
Took my son right in this morning as a walk in and did a great job on his cut. Very safe and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Edit: they were busy one day so I went across the street. I should’ve waited because the other place butchered my hair so bad it was astonishing. But Today John fixed their mistake and turned it into one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had in 1/10th the time. Professional, Stud haircuts. You can pay $60 for a worse haircut in hyde park Tampa (they’re previously the best I’d ever had) or pay almost nothing for an incredible one here. Tip these men
I have been to Steed's barber shop many times and this is the first time I have gotten my hair butchered! Normally the Steed's are good, but this time, the son was sick with the flu and a woman came in. She did not shave my neck nor did she even comb my hair when she was done. Worst haircut I have had in decades I will no longer recommend this shop as she has ruined their reputation, in my opinion.
The best barber shop in the area for price and service. Good people. They also have the clippers that are attached to a vacuum which I like because it's help you be a little less messy if you have to go somewhere after. Sometimes you have to tell JR if you want your neck razor shaved. Dad does it automatically.
Great place for a good haircut and fast service
*CASH ONLY* Been trying a few different barbers in the area, Steeds is by far the best. Good quality cut for a great and reasonable price. Real nice locally owned small business.
