Being from out of the state and unfamiliar with Boise’s Barbers, I hit the jackpot finding Sportsman Barber Shop and Pau!

Paul lives up to all his 5 star reviews. Plus friendly welcoming, respectful, attention to detail, and value.

Love all the John Wayne memorabilia, and antique Barber tools handsomely encased in boxes on the walls.

PATTY has purchased the business from Paul. She has continued the cleanliness of the shop, and she gives as good or better haircuts as he did. So, it's still a great place!!

Finally a value priced haircut, traditional haircut. Very simple, straight-forward, and especially great ,simple man's haircut. Highly recommend this barber.

I suggest finding a few minutes right away for a cut at Sportsman’s. No appointments needed, and calling ahead will probably get your eyebrow shaved off. Best high fade in the Valley – expressing some bias here. Paul has lowered my ears for at least eight years. Bring a sense of humor, and a straight face and your hair will come out great. And if you’re short on jokes, try the following: “Tried being a lumberjack. Couldn’t hack it, so they gave me the axe. Then gave barber a go. But I didn’t cut it. Then was hired as a tailor and found I wasn’t suited for the job”

Great haircuts. I wish they would take appointments. Not sure what the problem with that is but there must be something that causes some difficulty.

Good old school barber shop. Might as well go in early and get on Paul's good side because if you're from Boise odds are he's cut the hair of your parents and all their friends.

Paul is the best Barber in Boise, very quick, affordable, and efficient. He does a great fade for me every 2 weeks. There is practically no wait time because of how quick he is. I have been to other barber shops and waited for my turn longer than the entire haircut took from Paul. I will happily give him my money for a great cut, and pleasant atmosphere anytime. I recommend him to anyone in the Boise area.

Fantastic old school barber shop. I've been a customer going on 3 years and won't go anywhere else, even if the prices were cheaper. Rarely a long wait even when the place is packed. Great service, cool atmosphere and everything a man would want in a barber with nothing annoying about most chain or unisex places.
