This place is full of great stuff. I've seen many shoppers come from different cities to shop here. They are always filling the store with new stuff at great prices. People follow them on Instagram and come right away to buy the items they post. The staff makes you feel welcomed with their interesting, fun and friendly personalities. When my daughter had to sell chocolates for school, not only did they purchase chocolates but place her box at the register and helped sell chocolates for her. How awesome is that!!????????

Looking for Vintage goodies this is the place they has tons of vintage retro tinkers, portraits, kitchenwear, furniture, movies, tapes, you name it they got it the guest service is great friendly will be back ..
I took 3 buses to finally come to this thrift store. And it was worth it. The guys were great. They made us feel really welcome and were helpful. They have all kinds of things. I got a very nice ceramic cup that comes with tea strainer when you want to drink tea and the strainer comes off and it can be used for coffee and it has a lid. Mot only that, I found some cool things. Definitely coming back for more cool things. Hi guys, you are awesome.
My house was flooded and I needed new furniture and many new household items. I heard about ,Son of a Vet. I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed.
The shop is full of vintage furniture and many, many kitchen items such as food storage and dishes. Most of their stuff is in really good condition.
The owner is very helpful and much of the merchandise is very high in quality. I bought a lazy boy recliner a living room table and several kitchen serving pieces. Very reasonably priced, fairly close to what I see in charity thrift stores.
The store was a godsend for my needs. I wish I had discovered it earlier. It would have saved me a lot of running around. If you are just setting up a house or an apartment from scratch, this is a great place to start to get good merchandise at a good price.
The person at the counter was very helpful.
Parking is a little bit crowded. One time I had to park two blocks away, but it was worth the walk.
This shop is a grab bag of all sorts of things. From vintage furniture to partially used household cleaners, lightbulbs, used tools etc.
Some items are a steal, while some items (although cheap) are priced a fraction too much for wear and tear. You have to be ready to be discriminating but there’s so much to find, and the hunt is half the fun.
Love coming to this store. Just like to walk around and see what they have. Sometimes they have great items. Service is always super friendly. It a must stop store if you are looking for something to do and are in the area.
Wish I had a truck so I could haul some of the furniture gems at this place. Purchased a cute vintage wooden parrot necklace. Definitely need to make a stop when in the neighborhood.
Son of a Thrift. Very mellow environment. Definitely a neighborhood thrift store. Great place for rummaging through all the assorted goods.
Easy to locate. Street parking only.
Art, clothing, music, LPs electronics, Bric a a Brac, home decor, dvd's, and other items all well organized/displayed in 3 sections of the store.
This place has it all. Including good customer service with a splash of friendly chit-chat. Prices vary but overall affordable.
If you enjoy spending time shopping through new and vintage goodies. Then you'll love Son of a Vet thrift.
